Well, another one bites the dust. I too was charged for this free credit report service. The funny thing is that I don't even see the first report and they have charged me already. After reading about this subject on this web site, I have decided to cancel my credit card to make sure they stop charging me any longer. Although I called Bank of America (my credit card company), they can't file a dispute unless I talk to the company first. However, their registered phone number 877-4816825 seems non-existed. Some folks on this site points to the correct phone number 877-481626. Since there is risk waiting for their staff to cancel my subscription that I didn't subscribe, I decided to cancel this credit card all together. Without a valid credit card, a bad company like CIC Triple Advantage can't do any more harm. I hope one day somebody can do something about it.

Here's the problem. It tells you right there what to expect.
I went to one of the sites. I filled in garbage on the first page. On the second page, there is a space for you to fill in your credit card number.
Who in their right mind would do something stupid like that? Put your card number on a web site?
Anyway, if you do, this is what you can expect.
You will not be charged for your free credit report and free trial membership. However, valid credit card information is required to start your free 30-day trial membership. You may cancel your free trial membership at any time. However, you must tell us during your free 30-day trial that you do not want to continue your membership past the trial period, otherwise, you are hereby authorizing the $12 monthly fee to automatically be charged to the credit card account below.
That's what I copied from the site.

Ya know, I always say this. Whenever you see the word free, you can replace it with the word scam.
