CIC Triple Advantage put unauthorized charges on my credit card and should have been just a 1 time deal. Irvine California

First off, it says on the commercial and also has it printed on the commercial that you have to enroll. Define enroll.......

Secondly, it state in the terms and conditions.......and last but certainly not least. NOTHING in life is "free". Enough said. However, I doubt this will be the last report on this because there will be more people who believe this is actually "free" even though they want a credit card........sigh.

And yet another one....seriously...if they made this any more well known, they would have to skywrite it! If this was free, then why would they be asking for financial information? Did you stop and wonder about that before entering it in to join??? Did you read the entire Terms and Conditions at all?? Are you aware that Freecreditreport.com has the fee information right on their home page and stands out pretty well due to the verbiage being a different color??? I work for a large bank and it still amazes me how many people claim that they never saw anywhere that they were going to be charged! I have printouts of their website at my desk and it's pretty clear. Look through your information again cuz I think that you missed it, again.

There are some merchants out there that are pretty good at hiding what a person will be charged, but this is NOT one of them. Call the merchant and tell them you wish to cancel your membership with them and then you should no longer be charged. If you do get charged after cancelling with them, I know that they are usually pretty good about giving you a refund if it was their error. And try and be more careful about who you give your financial information to, because in situations like this, you more than likely are not going to get any of your money back.

Think about it, nothing is really "free".

I do find it amusing that the clowns at freecreditreport.com don't seem to know if it is a 7 (seven) day or 9 (nine) day free trial. Perhaps someone should point this out to them.

Did you ever stop to consider why they were asking you for your credit card # when you got your "Free" credit report....There is a big disclaimer on their home page about charging you if you don't cancel.

They need your money to pay for all those dumb commercials.
