Unfortunately, when a litigation accelerates, Citi has limited options to help you. It is in your best interest to work with the lawyer to resolve this issue and go forward with a plan of action. Citi is very proactive to contact clients by all means of communication when the bank realizes a financial condition has transpired. With all due respect, Citibank had retained an in-house counsel to take over the case and it is up to the litigation department to make the decision for you.
