After doing some research on this comany I found out that they target different areas and send out letters to people regarding checks from years ago (sometimes more than a decade) or as in my case they just make up a check that never bounced. Then they threaten you on the phone and become angry when you ask for proof of the alleged debt.
I suggest anyone who gets a letter from this company should ignore it. You will not go to jail. I have contacted both my AG and New Yorks AG. This company is being investigated. Hopefully now that I have informed them that I have filed complaints against them with 2 AG's, the New York BBB and my local police they will leave me alone.
