Everyone I'm writing this to make sure this doesn't happen to you. I was employed at Labor Ready as a Daily temporary worker and taken a assignment at CPI Foods Inc located on Gretna Street in Dallas TX. The very first day of work myself along with other workers were offered a return direct work opportunity with this operation because they felt it was unfair for what we was getting paid. So myself and others did return back to the site for 8 or 9 weeks. Getting paid cash in envelopes. After the 2012 Christmas holiday season, I returned several times very inconsistent with regular work days. On the last day of ever working for this operation money came up missing. They, I.e. the person of management made a fuss of about this so called missing money. In fact it didn't come up missing until her arrival and it was apparent this was a con game. No one but myself made a police report of it and I conveyed all information to the owner of the company. Let me remind you that this was a cash in hand job. So as weeks went by the so called manager ak Teresa Smith left a message on my voice mail stating she needed to get my personal Information for 1099 purposes along with a check for back pay. As I was sitting with someone in Plano TX I returned the call and she answered the phone. All of my personal information was given and she stated them but a third party would be processing the tax forms and the money order would be sent from her to me to the address given from myself during the phone conversation. Well, to this day neither check or tax forms were received. But what they did afterword is the point I'm getting to. When someone obtains Your personal information under false pretenses it is called a felony offense. When you do for hire packets you sign off to authorization to release personal data. People I have a high alert system in place if anyone does things with my personal information. You see since 911 things in the world have changed dramatically. CPI Foods don't follow federal law that requires i9 procedures for proof of citizenship nor do they file proper taxes if any. The people they have as regular workers are undocumented people here in the US. The lady herself stated most of the time the owner drops off very little money to pay workers don't matter how many hour of work performed. Not to mention the boiler pit work environment. This place is far from building code acceptance. I am contacting the following for assistance of ID theft by these people: FBI, INS, IRS, Dallas Police Department, State Attorney Generals Office of both State and Federal.
