My fiance wanted his own truck. It was always a dream of his.We were told by friends that drove for CR England and leased that England was a good company to drive for.Neither of us ever heard anything bad about England. So last year we started driving for England and are Independent Contractors.We found out last month from Horizon Truck sales and leasing not only from Burns Harbor Indiana But also Horizon in West Valley Utah that we are renting the truck for 2 yrs and at the end of the 2 yrs we will need to have a down payment of $8,000 then it goes to Dan England CEO for approval then it goes to a bank to be financed and your still making payments on your truck.In turn you will never own your truck.Horizon makes it look like and sound like your payments on your truck that comes out of your weekly settlement go towards the payment on your lease.They also say lease your truck with no down payment,be your own boss.Okay if we are lease purchasing the truck then the weekly payments should go towards buying the truck.Problem here drivers! Between CR England and Horizon Truck sales and leasing together they are running the IC's like company and wanting things their way.Nobody communicates with each other at Cr england in the offices and Horizon people are just as bad and don't return phone calls.Drivers you are better off lease purchasing a truck from Freightliner Select and hook the truck up with a well known company( check with the better buisness berau to make sure the company is not going to rip you off in any way shape or form.)You will probably get a way better deal then to get screwed over from companies like CR England and Horizon Truck Sales and Leasing.
