Holland Park Apartments denied my request for disability housing accommodations after I rejected the property managers sexual advances. The manager and his staff created a hostile environment and after paying my $1,880.00 dollar deposit for an inaccessible apartment the manager and staff constructvely evicted me and refused to refund my deposit. I did follow the "Early Termination Clause" of the lease agreement by giving a 30 day notice to quit, but the manager and staff rejected my 30 day notice and evicted me and I have been homeless every since that day. I filed a complaint with HUD and my case was "Deactivated" for {18mos.} for un-known reasons. I filed a complaint with the 'Justice Department and I also sent a Letter to President Obama, he responded and ordered the Justice Department to order HUD to "Reactivate" my case was closed 60 days later, therefore, I had to file my civil claim in federal court because the statute was running out, and being disable, homeless, and poor I could not find one attorney that would help me without money, nor would any attorney take on my case under Pro Bono, legal aid or otherwise. I have made many attempts to settle this matter with the attorney's representing the staff, but they reject my offer to refund my $1,880.00 dollars deposit for each staff member who caused injuries to me. I have been hospitaized 4 times for heart problems, stress, H.P. and I have had to put off surgery. The attorney's for the staff have called me with threat's, and have sent me threating mail to get me to drop my complaint. The attorney's claim their client's did nothing wrong, and they have displayed to me that they are willing to spend 10's of thousands of dollars to defend their wrongdoing, rather than pay me back my deposit of $1,880.00 dollars. I was denied disability housing accommodations, I was sexually harassed in the process of renting an apartment, I was a victim of the Bate and Switch, I was evicted after only 30 days of residence, plus my security deposit was never refunded to me in full, and although I followed the Early Termination Clause of the lease agreement to the letter by giving a 30 day notice, and by paying 3 mos. rent in advance the staff discriminated against me and used retaliation and threats to try to keep me quit. I want to tell my story and I want you to tell my story too. Please help me.
