CRST Malone lease purchase trucks not checked for defects Trussville Alabama

I was in the lease purchase program and all was well , until I found out that my truck was having fuel problems. I relayed this information to dispatch and maintaince, which is located in cedar rapids Ia. only to find out that the company does not have a actual mechanic shop, but a maintaince shop where pm's tire changes etc are done. I recieved complaints that I was recieving too many advances for fuel, after this went on for colse to two months. finally I was told that maintaince would put the truck in the shop, after three weeks of running from dealer to dealer, now I am behind in payments so I was pulled out of the truck and sent home, lease cancelled.

two months later the company sent me a bill for close to $4000, not discounting the time the vehicle was down at the company's request, and the $2000 worth of equiptment that was taken with the truck. every repair place that I took the truck I was told to tske the truck somewhere else. The truck was never fixed.

I feel sorry for the person that gets that truck, then goes into the mountains with 40.000 lbs and over because they will only get avg. 3 MPG. all in all the freight and rate per mile is there but some of the equiptment is not up to par
