I was looking online for a new job. Something that would be worth the money. Something different than what I have been doing all my life. I saw an offer for a sales position with great pay. $1600 a week. Sounded wonderful. Especially since they said no experience needed and that they had on the job training. I was stoked. I then decided to call and see where this would go. I called and got the address, went to fill out an application and they asked me to come back for an interview. Of course I was excited and said yes. (I saw at least 7 others applying for the job, so the fact that they wanted me to come back for an interview made my day.) I went in for the first interview with I believe his name was Oniel. Not sure. He said I sounded great for the position and that he wanted me to work for the company. He then said that he isn't the one to make the final decisions. He would have to pass on the application to his boss Darrell. He would look it over and have a second interview with me. He said that he would put a star on the application to indicate that he wanted my application at the front of the list. I went back in for my second interview, this one with Darrell. He said that I had the job by the end of the interview. He then told me that I would start training the next morning at 7am. He told me that I would be on my feet all day to wear comfy shoes and business attire. I came in and sat for a few min. with the other ladies that were hired. They then paired us off with "leaders" and had us stock her car full of crap they wanted us to sell. We drove ALL over Tucson selling this stuff door to door at local business.

Even if the store said no soliciting we had to go in. If they tried to kick us out by saying no soliciting we would have to say "oh we are not soliciting, we are running a promotion." We had security called on us a few different times. I thought heck the money would be worth it in the end. So I stuck out another week of this crap. All the while getting sunburned and heat exhaustion. Oh and lunch. They would stop for lunch, but we still had to sell during lunch. Finally I got sick of it and decided it wasn't worth the pay. I went into Darrell's office and told him that I quite. He told me that it was fine and that I could be paid on Friday. He continued to fill me out a slip voucher thing that had the date, my name, how much I was to receive and his signature. I went back Friday to get my money and they said Darrell wasn't there and he was the only one who can give me my money. So I came back a little before the time they were supposed to leave and the place was already closed up. I then started going every Friday and no one. I still (8 months later) have yet seen my pay.

I figured that they would mail it to me. They didn't. Granted it's only $120, but it's not about the money anymore. It's the principal of the matter. He knew they were closing up shop and thats why he had me come back then. Plus its tax time and I never received my w-2 from them. I don't even know if I am supposed to get a w-2 from them. I don't remember filling out paperwork for that. That should have been my first clue. I went back today to see if anyone around the location knew where they went and no one knows. If anyone reading this has any way for me to reach them, I would be most grateful.
