April 10, 2009 the transmission began to slip. Took to Aamco Transmission and need another reconditioned Transmission and Torque. 3 months beyond 1 year warranty.
Total cost = $1597.55. Fiancee's parents pd on credit card.
June 22, 2010 we are taking our 1 trip per year vacation to SC shores from KY and as soon as we get there our transmission slip yet again. Called the local Aamco and they had it towed there. Same parts are bead again!! Total cost = $2406.59. 2 months after yr warranty is up.
After calls to our local Aamco and the head of Aamco Customer Relations, no help was given to us regarding their crappy ass parts. We could not get the car until we paid the bill in full. After borrowing money from family and using the vacation money we had in our acct, we pd the bill and went home. This is Wrong and Unfair practices! Rip-off!!
