These guys are the biggest jokes that we have come accross for internet service. We had a business depending on these guys for service & it took right at 50 days to even get the service turned on. They have 500+ 'dummy sites' that they use to make these 'better than true' deals & put you on the back of the burner for getting these remarkable deals through them. 

   We finally after about 35 days of waiting (& being in the same building with them) decided to call coorperate office. They said those other sellers are 'not 100% authorized' & said they were '3rd party offers that might not be valid'. We said "sure,ok, just please turn on the internet as we have a business unable to accept credit cards or anything in the same building as you guys & we have waited as long as possible" (actually too long we know now). These guys said " you got to call coorperate office & get it set up", We explained that we had done that, & they said "wrong coorperate office", & we finally got in touch with their 'correct' coorperate office to get service. A guy named charles gave me every excuse in the book on why we had no service. He has an order from us from these 'unauthorized 3rd parties' from over a month back, & continued to give reason why i needed to cancel with them & do a fresh contract with them. I said " whatever I need to do, as I am watching my newly moved business fall to pieces without it". He said we can get you up in about a week & cost 50.00 connect & 49.00 a month on medium grade plan. I said please do it as fast as poossible & that we were in same mall as their Duncan Oklahoma Office & that it should not be too hard to do. 

   He said he had people all over the state wanting cable one service since it was so great & that I had to wait about another week or so, & I said OK, just please hook it up. Well.....from this point...the scam began....He sent me a contract that required some menbership of an electoronic signature & i found it odd, (just as entire incident was), but OK. He sent the contract. It said 100.00 hook up & 69.00 a month. I told him that was not what he said. He chuckled & said yes sir, I will get this corrected. He finally sent one that said 50.00 hook up & 59.00 a month. I said " you are still getting me for 10.00 here a month". He said that it was for modem & stuff. Well, cable one had alread stolen 2 modems from me in the past on 'service calls' from our business in Texas, so I didnt like the idea, but said " ok, you know I am up againsts a wall on this & have to have it, so fine". I signed the contract & sent back.....

   We had service for about 20 days & got a bill, Prorated sept31st @59.99 + 100.00 Hook-up fee + othe charges totaling 190$+. Came to store next day, no service. I asked the local office what happened. They said " when you don't pay your bills, you lose service". I told them that I can not possibly pay 200.00 for just a few days service & they told me to pay it all or go to collections.

   I told them that was a scam from the start. They got mad, My home service was not 'pre-paid' for the upcoming month. Service off & hours later Cable one is up on the line cutting the service there. I asked why & they said " you owe 64.00 for this month. I told them that they can go ahead & turn it off. It was 9:00 in the morning & I had sign on door saying that I work late nights aside from my personal business. They don't care. I told them they were scam artists & the guy just said "I understand". The entire staff there has turned over since we moved here & just walking in the office you can feel the disgust of their staff & the attitude they have. I mean, 50 days to turn on, & less than 1 day to tell you that you owe & them shut off service in hopes of you paying a re-connect fee...LAME SCAMMERS. I wouldnt be suprised if they were owned by some 3rd world nation who was using the money to build a bomb. Why else would they have such crap tactics & basicly admit to customers that they know the entire issue is crap? Just another reason the USA is falling down. These are the people who would put 50000 citizens out of a job or service just to not endure a .0001% less amount of PROFIT they could possibly scam somone for if they did it right. I got NO respect for them & I should charge them with the theft of my companies modems if they are going to try some scammer stuff & be this persistant about it.

Sorry, I made an error. total is as shown in update title. I re-looked over the first bill just to verify that all was correct on the short online time & time from actual service to no service to collection of some insane amount. I am correct in that. Just the 50.00 activation + 49.00 a month happened to double & got them so mad they came out & cut the line for my resident as well.

   Guy knew he was a P.O.S. & knew they were wronger than 2 boys screwing for doing it. But he has a job. It is obviously being a creep for cable one. Comes a time when you decide if your profession will be that of what God looks at with love or one that God sees as an evil messenger. I guess many choose the evil messenger as thats who's hiring these days....but it has got to feel a bit akward bending people over & trying to rape them for amounts of money that you can not even provide paperwork to support.

  If I was a jerk, I could easily send them to OUR collections...but playing tit for tat is for the vultures. And so they are...just vultures. People complain of the economy but the minute you offer to buy something from someone they are already making plans on how to take it all. No wonder we are in such a mess.
