We actually have to get permission from upper management to do our jobs. No joke. We are not aloud to talk to our co-workers unless it has to do with work.
The operations manager has mental problems and she has admitted to having take medication to keep calm. The production area, if you can call it that, is not allowed to use air conditioning in the summer time unless the owners okay it. HEY IT GETS 120 DEGREES IN THE SUMMER TIME AND EVEN HOTTER IN THE BUILDING!
They use very out dated machinary to insert the mail which has no capactity to do any sort of large job. Despite what they advertise all over the internet, they ARE NOT one stop for direct marketing. Any time a large is needed by a client Cactus Mailing outsources the printing to somebody else. They do not like to do flat mailings and have no way to do selective inserting or polybag inserting. Their "printing" is nothing more than a digital color copier that is constanly breaking down. Then the operations manager quite literally freaks out.
On there website at least one of the client testimonials comes from the parents of the wife of the owner under the guise of a business.
Do enough research and you'll find three different addresses they have used prior to their current location. After 7 years in business they STILL haven't grown as much as other direct mail companies over the same period of time. The owners are afraid of any sort of expansion or growth.
And worst of all, both the operations manager and the wife of the owner (she is also a co-owner) constantly refer to people from India as "Dotheads".
ASK YOURSELF....IS CACTUS MAILING THE SORT OF DIRECT MAILING COMPANY YOU WANT TO TRUST YOUR ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN TO? I WOULDN'T AND MANY CURRENT CLIENTS AGREE AND HAVE TAKEN THEIR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
