California Franchise Tax Board Levy, terminally Ill Person Sacramento California

 If you have had to deal with the California Tax Board then you will know what I am about to say.  I had filed my taxes with turbo tax but I guess something had happened with the transmission and they had never received it.  The IRS had received theirs but the State said no.  Well I was confused about it all so I had to contact turbo tax and they could not help me at all.  They said they had nothing but they charged me for it.  Needless to say I had to get my taxes together again for the state of California.  I have been ill with Pancreatic Cancer and having to go back and redo my taxes was going to be difficult for me but I had a friend who would help me.  I gave power of attorney to my friend so he could handle it for me.  He started by writing to the CFTB and letting them know what was going on and that it would take some time to get everything together.  During all of this I got very ill and could not do anything.  I was on heavy pain killers and at this point  I did not want to live but it seems that the CFTB does not care.  Here I am a person that has nothing but only my disability and one day without notice my bank accout was cleared.  Well there was not much money in it but still it was the fact they even had the nerve to do it and what was I supposed to live on.  You would have thought they had caught somebody who owes millions but only owes a few thousand and I can't pay it right now.  Maybe one day if I ever get better maybe I can but I have not worked for years but they don't care.  They have no compassion at all.  I know there maybe a lot of people who try to pull many things but I am certainly not. I could give them a doctors note if they wanted.  They have never cared to know  and my friend has been working  hard to get it done but they still harrass me and threaten to levy me again.  Why?  I have always paid my taxes but I can't now due to my health and I don't know what they expect from me.  What they want to take whatever money I get from SSDI that helps pay my rent and food and medical.  That is just horrific and shameful that they would do that to me.  Some days I don't know if I am going to make it myself but do they have to do such harsh tactics.  I have always let them know what is going on and it seems they don't care at all.  They just want the few thousand dollars I owe like they just caught Bonnie and Clyde or something.  I am not a criminal and hate being treated like one.  I can' t  help it that I got ill. I wish I was not but since Iam I have to deal with it and paying FTB is not one of them.    They will not let me file a hardship until the taxes are filed.  This makes no sense but I am trying and it has been difficult on my friend because of my health.  I am not always alert.  How can one such company be so cruel hearted?  Take the little bit I have and leave me with nothing so what, I have to live on the street and loose my apartment because of a few thousand dollars.  This is not right and they should not have the right to do that especailly when my SSDI is all I have and I need it to live on.  Take it away and I die and they don't seem to care at all.  They are heartless and mean.  I hope nobody else has to go through this because it leaves you feeling hopeless and defenseless against a monster.  What does a person do.    This is not right to do to a person who is so ill.  Not right at all.  They want to take eveything away from me so I don't have anything to live on.  It is a sad world we live in where people  just dont have a heart or care.   It scares me that they can just take it away from me without a care.   So much for the CFTB.
