'Turns out that this outfit gives no one better access to optain such positions-than what one would go about on their own-landing the opportunity of hotel professional security officer. so keep your 600$ that this "school" charges you to have priviledge of their helping you. leave a message as best you can if your a woman working as a security in a hotel that in this economy-wages you 16$ and up-in your entry level

I am the Director of Operations of this nonprofit organization and I addressed this "rant" in 2008 about 6 months after it was posted. As I said then, there is no record of the name or place of residence of this person in our database going back to 2002 when we formed the company. I think that it is pathetic that this "so called consumer help group" has to keep these disgrunteled people in their records for over 5 years. As I said in 2008 when I addressed this then:
This company is a training facility only, not an employment agency. Our contract states that a person is paying for training only, not a job. We do our best to connect our students with employers and we charge nothing for that service; It is FREE, a courtesy. STOP CRYING!

We have searched our student database and found no one by this name and last initial having ever attended our training facility. If this person is in fact a graduate and actually paid for the class, please call us immediately and we will do everything in our power to help you secure employment. We have hundreds of contacts throughout the Luxury Hotel venues in California and Nevada and can certainly find you a position in one of them.
California Security Institute has been in business in San Francisco since 2002 and we have never received a complaint from anyone. All or graduates know that if they are unable to secure employment or want to change jobs or wish to take the class over again without charge they may do so at any time.
I would invite "Jan W". to please call the office and discuss the situation with us so that we may rectify whatever the problem is. We are here to help all of our graduated students get the position of their choice in the luxury hotel of their choice assuming that the hotel has openings in their security staff.
In closing, may I remind all of our students and this person in particular, the tuition fee pays for the training, not the job. The job placement assistance is free and ongoing for as long as it takes to get a job.
