Calyx Software 45 to 60 minute wait times for service calls then...no assistance! Licensing fee rip offs also. Dallas, Texas
For months Calyx has been prroviding users excuses why when you call for service you are put on hold for 40 to 70 minutes before you get a live individual. The latest excuse used for the last 4 months has been they were releasing a new version of software...isn't that what they do?
There is no excuse for this type of poor response and service. Why are users putting up with this? The software is easy to use but so are almost all mortgage software systems.
There are far better systems available like PC Lender/IHM. You pay more but you get real service and when you call, they answer the phone.
Another issue users are having with Calyx is there licensing. They choose to not host so they outsource the hosting and then Calyx is responsible for providing the data to the hosting provider of how many licenses you are using. Recently we were billed for 11 more licenses than we were using and I called Calyx accounting on the 10th or 11th of January to let them know the billing was incorrect. They asked me to call customer support...which is the average 40 to 70 minute wait or I could try sales to change the number of licenses used. The trick here is that you must do it before the 14th of the month or they get to bill you for another 30-60 days...which they did in fact accomplish once again!!
I could not reach anyone until 1/15/13 in sales and got a very pleasant individual who provided zero assistance and told me to write a letter and it would need to be a 30 day notice. LOL!! What a racket!
Stay away from this company unless you like to get screwed financially and you love extremely poor service!
The Users need to speak out about the poor response time and the licensing issues and hold this company responsible for their actions!!
