Capital One Capital One Credit Cards, Capital One Services, LLC, capitalone.com, Capital One Bank (USA), N.A. and Capital One, N.A Capital One Credit Card $5.00 monthly membership fee??? What am I paying $5.00 a month for? Salt Lake City, Utah

I have a capital one credit card with around $800 charged to it. My monthly minimum payments capital one has calculated is $18.00 a month. I pay around $11.50 a month in interest plus this new $5.00 a month membership fee. (the fee I didn't agree too! And yes, capital one goons I know I had the choice to not accept this fee by closing my account, but have to because I don't have the money to pay off the entire balance, so I am stuck paying this fee!)

Total interest plus membership fee is around 16.50 a month, so that means if I pay the minimum monthly payment that capital one has calculated that each month $1.50 would be applied to the principal on my account and then the next month another $5.00 membership fee would be applied to my account plus interest. It would be impossible to pay off this account unless I were to pay more than the minimum monthly payment each month. What a scam by capital one, wow. (before you capital one goons try to hammer me, I KNOW I have the option to pay more than the minimum payment each month and I DO!,

I am just trying to show people who don't pay attention to their monthly statements and just pay the minimum that by paying the minimum they would never be able to pay off their account and for the people who pay the minimum and after a year of paying they notice their account balance is still the same as it was or more than it was a year ago and they have not charged one cent to the card in that year) This should be outlawed! Shame on the Banksters! Writing this complaint on here will not change anything, I know, but soon the tables will turn on the Banksters and all the Fiat Money out there!
