2 months ago I purchased I used car from Capitol Honda (2004 Nissan Frontier) I thought I was getting a good deal. I purchased this truck for $11,899.00 with $4,000.00 down. I asked for the car fax before I signed for this truck, they didn't give to me because there computer was down, at this point the used sales manager Matt and the sales rep said where a Honda dealer, we fully inspect all vehicles so you can trust us. So it made sense, big corporate Honda dealer they have to sell good sound vehicles.

Last week on 5-23-09 I decided to take my Nissan Frontier for an oil change @ Midas in Modesto ca then I notice some rust spots on the passengers inside door, as they lifted my truck up in the lift jack, I was in shock!!!!!!!!! The undercarriage was full of rust it was so bad that I punched a hole with my finger in the front bumper supporter. I was really mad.. I felt cheated, lied too, taken advantage.

I called the dealer ship ask to speak with Matt (used sales manager) they told me he was on vacation to try back in two weeks, this is after I explain this whole ordeal to the assistant mgr. so on memorial day 5-25-09 I took the truck back to capital Honda and demanded to talk to a manager. As I was waiting for the manager to come, I saw Matt working on deals with other customers..this got me really mad because once again they lied to me. I told and showed Matt (sales manager) the situation with the Nissan and how bad it was. He replied with: well you had the car for 2 months already there is nothing we can do for you! This made me really upset, I was furious!!!!! He also said that the only thing he could do for me is let me traded in, but he could only give me $8,000.00 for the truck. He totally disregarded my complaint. I told him that the only reason I was returning the truck it was because he sold me a piece of s**t truck that was full of rust and was falling apart. So I asked for a copy of the car fax @ that point, Matt printed out the car fax, looking over the Nissan history I found out it came from Hawaii!!!!!!! This probably explains why the car fax was never giving to me in the first place. Matt the whole time treated me with no respect he told me to go home and think about trading in the truck and that he couldn't help me anymore because he was to busy. I told Matt to get his boss because I was done dealing with a piece of s**t lying motherf***er. So he pulled out his cell phone and called Jim Thomas (general manager) then he tells me to come back tomorrow because Jim was not working that day. I said fine ill come back tomorrow, as I was leaving I asked one the sales reps out side who Jim Thomas was he said the GM also he mentioned that he was across the street at the new Honda dealer ship. I didn't even bother confronting Matt, so I decided to go across the street and look for Jim Thomas. I walked in to the show and requested to speak with Jim Thomas (GM) the sales rep says ok let me go get him, so after waiting for 15min the sales rep to came back and told me that Jim couldn't see me to come back tomorrow, I told the sales rep can please tell Jim that I live 2 hrs away that I will wait if necessary but that I needed to talk to him. Sales rep said that he was sorry but he couldn't see me. At this point I was IRATE , so I told the sales rep, go tell Jim that ether he comes or ill go over there and make him give me his time!!! At that point Jim agrees to see me, as I walk into his office first thing that comes out of his mouth is you got one minute and then Im done with you. That just pissed me off even more!! I told him the same story I told Matt about the truck, he said; all I can do is put you in a new civic and pay you $8,000.00 for your truck. I could not believe how this guy handles his business. I demanded my money back and for him to take the truck back, he said no and that I needed to leave unless I was ready to trade in the truck for $8,000.00 and carry over $2,000 + on the new loan.

I will never do business with Capitol Honda again, my family will never do business with them and my friends and their friends will never do business there again. I'm going to let every body know the type of thieves this people are. I'm reporting it the BBB.

This is not the end of it, I'm suing and my attorney believes we have a strong case. Capitol Honda and all their thieves will deal with me again.
