Beware of Capstone National Securities Link. AKA City National Bank , out of California. A big Rip Off that could get you in trouble if you cashed the check. I received one for $2975.00. The letter said  I was one of the declared winners of SHOPPERS SWEEPSTAKES AMERICAN held on July 11th, 2009. The sole purpose of this first Cheque is for payment of applicable Government Taxes on your big winnings.And as desperately as I need the money , it was just too good to be true. The letter said to call the number enclosed before cashing the check so I called. The recording said the cellular number dialed was not an assigned number. The next time I called the recording said;  because of technical difficulties the call could not be completed.  Some people who desperately needed the money migh would go nd deposit or cash the check . Which would probably get you in a LOT of trouble somehow someway.This whole letter and chek just screamed Scam! Scam ! Scam!!!! 

People who do this to people, especially in these trying,desperate times should be put away. Forever. If the law won't do somethig to prosecute these people.  God will.
