Cardinal builders llc Don Meeks He the sales person after finding out what type of fence we want and paying 50% down, he gave us a date to stare on oct 15 2012. We paid him in sept with 2 checks. We were told they would stared on th Internet

After waiting and calling we were told that they were over booked and was on another job. And that don Meeks had been let go for saying and doing things he was not suppose to. I was very mad I then ask for my money back, after a back and forth they said 10 days from oct 15 2012. Now it is nov 4 2012 and I have yet to get the money $1800 we paid them for a job they could not and did not do.of cause they lied about this and what they said. We have found out that they have had 52 complaints with the BBB of ohio and the same number with the attorney general office here in ohio. So if you don,t want to take my word look the complaints up your self. Yet they keep going it seems noting are little is being done about them. I would like to see them have to answer for all the people they have wrong"beware.

As of today I still have not heared from cardinal builders, the Bbb of Columbus ohio has informed me that the have contrack the co and hear nothing , so they have close the case. Now for the person that said why did I pay them so much, well you don,t know me but as a consumer I checked all sources, noting was said bad about them. I even got thier name off Angie's list. Now I checked everything. At that time Bbb , had nothing on the, and the attorney general,s office had noting. At the time I was unaware of this site. Today I got a letter from a bank that loan this co money for thier home loans co, so people beware of this other co they have. The bank is taking them to court for non payment of funds. This co is bad people and I am hopping this is onetime the banks takes them for everything, like they have taken so many others. They don,t ever intend on doing the job, just getting your money . So I say beware, someone dous you wrong , tell the world , speak up and out, pass it on.

Never Pay Any Money Up Front

Why in the World would you give anyone $1800.00 that you did not know, personally. As you can see from my other posts, I own a fence company, Lawrenceville Fence Company (Georgia) and we would never ask for a dime up front. Why would you, or anyone else for that matter, pay a company money up front? If a company cannot afford to purchase the materials for a job, why would you want to do business with them?
Lawrenceville Fence Company, is not the cheapest fence company, and we do not even try to be, and it's because we are in the business to make money and we do, therefore, customers have nothing to lose by doing business with a legitimate company that only requests payment when the job is complete and the customer is happy.
No One Should Ever Pay Any Company Any Money In Advance -- you are begging to get ripped off.
Lawrenceville Fence Company, is not the cheapest fence company, and we do not even try to be, and it's because we are in the business to make money and we do, therefore, customers have nothing to lose by doing business with a legitimate company that only requests payment when the job is complete and the customer is happy.
No One Should Ever Pay Any Company Any Money In Advance -- you are begging to get ripped off.
