My major complaint is with the GE Capital, GE Money side of this pair. I have not had any problems with the Care Credit in and of itself.

Let me begin with account changes made by GE and having to re-register my account because of the new changes occurring. My problem was logging in. I used the correct user name and password but a screen came up with a security question because they did not recognize my computer.

It just so happened that the security question was NOT the question I had chosen, so how could I answer the question?? Twice while trying to set my security question and answer, the question would jump around to another question as I was typing in the answer. I guess that is what happened in this case.

Glitches GE said. Glitches that would clear up later??!! They will not let me onto my account! REFUSED to do anything....except take my money over the phone!! The representative was rude, hateful, arrogant, and had a smart mouth on her. So did the rep I spoke with yesterday. So if these "Glitches" do not correct themselves I will not be allowed to get on my account!! How ridiculous.

To top it all off, GE has things worked out to where it is near impossible to talk to a human!!  They tell you to go to "customer service" on their website, the catch is that you have to be logged in before you can use customer service.....of which I could not do because of the security question. Every phone call directed me to another number and it ended up taking me two days to get through to someone. A lot of good it did me.

This is absolutely ludicrous. I wonder if they would mind if I withheld my payments until they could get my account glitches repaired. They would not care even then. They would just charge me interest and late fees.

Still NO Solution!

My frustration grows. Went to my dentist last week and they called GE Capital/Care Credit on my behalf. We worked our way through the chain of commands and ended of speaking to a manager. The dentist office told them that they were not at all happy about their lack of a solution for the problem I am having and asked them to please help me. Eureka...now they had a solution, a guaranteed solution that would take 5 days. DID NOT HAPPEN! The same problem still exists and by what I have read on the Ripoff Report I am not alone.

Both my dentist and I asked for them to please send me a paper statement so that I could pay the bill by check. That has not happened either.

FYI--I did try 2 different servers and still had the same problem with both Firefox and Internet Explorer.

I am losing hope and I am beginning to feel that they are doing this so that I will miss a payment deadline and then be charged an astronomical amount in interest.

If they claim that it is a web page glitch, ask them what "browser" do you need to use in order to get it work properly. What is your Internet browser now? Just my two cents.

I am extremely disappointed because after GE customer service offered me help only after I filed a complaint, nothing has been accomplished. I cannot get online to schedule payments. I fear this because I have read what they have done to so many other people then they are laden with enormous interest payments because they are unable to get through to make their payments.

It is not MY fault and should not be MY problem that their system has a glitch. And this glitch has not corrected itself as they said would happen.

If you glance back at my original complaint you will see that the problem lies with the security question and answer. The security question that comes up is something that does not even apply to me, a question I would have never selected. I had no best man at our wedding so how could I have an answer.

I would select the question and as I typed in the answer the question would scroll (by itself) to another question. It did this several times but when I finished I was sure it was set correctly.

The pressure of this situation is affecting my health. I am going to contact legal help on this situation and see if there is a way to resolve this.
