STAY AWAY from Carlotta Credit Car sales in Hazleton!!!!!!!
I have purchased a car from the Hazleton Car lot. I was told that anything that needed fixed on my car would be covered bumper to bumper. This was a warrenty for 3 months or  3,000 miles.  Ha Ha Ha !!!!

My car leaks, trim was broken off after I had left a deposit, that was to be fixed, guess what, never happened. I was told to go to a junk yard to get the parts. When I had taken my car for warrenty work, nothing was done n they wanted to charge me $40.00 for labor. This was all to be covered. They coudn't find the leak on my driver's door. They put a hose on it n nothing leaked.  Go Figure.  Yet when it rains my seat gets wet, I stopped on Weds. and showed them where it was leaking, n was told I coud get the parts thru them for their cost. So comforting, my seats still  gets wet. Their payment systems SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have direct withdrawl for my bank n they still can't get it right. They shut your car off when they screw up late Sat night, an can"t use your car on Sun Or have it For Work on Monday. They give you a number to call if there are any problems, guess what, NO ONES there to answer over the weekends.  Then they call n say that you haven't made a payment, n again they look n its their screw up n WILL NOT admit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM @ ANY OF THEIR LOCATIONS.
This company won't even get you a car fax!!  I asked for service records so I knew what had been done to my car n I was told that they don't have those records. I guess they really think I'm stupid.

Sincerly; I GOT A LEMON

Carlotta Rip Off Is True!

AUTHOR: kailasho - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, January 05, 2013

So i had to share me and my husband's story about Carlotta in Hazelton, PA. So we went in due to my husbands incredibly poor credit. We needed a new vehicle as his Ford Van was on its last leg. 280,000 miles.. We went in and the manager wasn't there. Was on 9/10/11. We got approved and was told we were not allowed to test drive any cars, but since the manager wasn't there, they would make a exception. Wait a minute. If someone isn't allowed to test drive any of the cars they could be signing a contract for a lemon, immediately without knowing. We test drove a 99 Ford (Manual) and didn't like it. Driving felt weird. So we tried another car, don't remember what it was but we turned the car on and immediately heard LOUD schreeeeeks. Not for us! So we went back to our first choice. A 2002 Dodge Neon. Sadly, it was the nicest car on the lot at the time. The guy told us we weren't qualified to get the car, but after some talking they said we could test drive it anyways. Drove smooth.  A lot better then our old van. They called whoever they do for credit and we got approved for the Neon. But not before letting us know its was $87.36 a week! We were so over joyed we finally had a place approve us that we said okay. So $360 a month payments on a car that is now 11 years old. Anyways. We drove it home no problem. Next morning we had errands we had to run a hour away. We stopped at the mall near my house first, and did what we needed to do. Came down off a ramp from the mall and the car lost all control of the breaks and steering.. So we had to get it towed after not even 24 hours of owning this car! Back to carlotta it went. Not after yelling over the phone with the manager about it. Once we got to carlotta they wanted to charge us $100 service charge to clip on a vaccum hose, which wasn't secured properly due to them idiots. We ended up getting out of the $100 after screaming. A month later we were driving on a highway and one of our tires started making a weird noise. We couldn't financially fix it due to the HUGE car payment. A week after the tire blew. Took it to walmart and all the tires were so bald. Almost down to the belts! They sold us a car with bald tires, but told us they were new tires when we got the d**n car! A month later, the left back axle! A month after that, the belt and the brakes. A month after that the CV axle. After that a tune up! Nothing that was suppose to be fixed on this car, was. They told us, new tires, new breaks, new lights.. I mean the drivers side window didn't even roll down after 2 days of having it! NEW NEW NEW. Bull! We have owned this car now for almost a year and a half, and it still makes weird noises and needs work. We have been fixing something ever month since we got this car! Do not and i repeat do not ever buy from them. They are a scam! The manager doesn't car about any car issues. They didn't want to hold true to the 3,000 miles bumper to bumper. I swear they just wrap things up with duct tape and pass it as a working safe vehicle. But we could have gotten into a accident twice because of there stupidity!

To be blunt.

Well, you did buy the car after all that.

Go to your favorite search engine and type in "how to buy a used car".   You'll find out interesting tidbits like the fact that warranties that are not written, do not exist.  If you don't have a car checked by a mechanic before you buy it, you're out of luck after you buy it (in most states).  How, if a salesperson is withholding info, there's probably a reason for doing so (and not a good reason).

Reminder???

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, September 16, 2011
I also have the payment reminder system

LMAO!  What a nice way of saying "we don't see our money so we turned it off and we're downloading the location data into Google Earth to see where our car is located."

I've been purchasing new vehicles with credit since 1974 and I have never, ever, had anyone offer this wonderful "payment reminder" to me.  I guess all those dealers I've purchased from, as well as the banks that gave me auto loans, were highly lacking in customer service!

When are some folks going to learn to live within their means?  The last thing anyone with a crap credit history needs is MORE CREDIT.  It's better to save some money and buy a beater (whoopdie) outright than to pay the rediculous interest rates these "buy here/pay here" joints offer-and you won't have a GPS/cutoff device installed either.

Dont Agree

AUTHOR: Brian C - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, September 16, 2011

I reaaly disagree with these comments- I've had 3 vehicles thru them and dont find them difficult at all- I also have the payment reminder system on my car and have never had a problem with it- One weekend when I forgot to call for my code I used the emergency code and  it worked out fine.  They even have a 800 number to call  when their offices are closed.

The warranty is  3 months three thousand miles powertrain  with a 100.00 service decuct- they even fix things that arent even normally covered - It only make sense that if they cant find a problem they cant fix it~

I think they are all great- wouldnt stick with a company I dont feel I could trust
