So my husband loses all his money to this Caring Transitions franchise and they move the President, John F. Buckles from that franchise to another called TruBlu House Care. All under Strategic Franchising.
I guess his mugshot wasnt enough to warrant getting fired so they move him to another brand. The sales guy did tell me they fired Heather Grifo his girlfriend, Operations Director, but "really" ....

If this helps anyone stay away from these two brands, then my work is done.

When I started, I was scared and it was hard work at first. There were times that I worried that I had mad the wrong decision, but the people there continued to help me and worked to drive business to my business.
Today, I have over 20 employees that pretty much run my business for me. I work about 10 hours a week in an oversight position. I have taken a vacation every year since owning my business and have gone to places I never imagined I would have the opportunity to go to. I have bought 4 new cars since owning my business. Above all of this, I have been able to help more families than I can count. I helped people to overcome a very difficult time in their lives and have made great friends doing so.

Our company is a reputable business with over 150 locations. The incident for which Mr. Buckles and Ms. Grifo were arrested did not involve any act of dishonesty, and was completely unrelated to the companys business. In fact it had absolutely nothing to do with the company at all. It was unfair to both of them and their families to promote the incident on the Internet.
The publication of their arrests through this site was unfortunate, because there was nothing sinister about the incident, in spite of how the poster tried to characterize it. He should have taken the trouble to ascertain the underlying facts before trying to smear it across the Internet. The two were kayaking, Ms. Grifo fell into the water and nearly drowned, and Mr. Buckles tried to save her. When paramedics responded to a 911 call, Mr. Buckles disagreed with the way they were attending to Ms. Grifo, who was unconscious and suffering from hypothermia, and in the stress of the moment he tried to intervene. It was an unfortunate incident, especially since Mr. Buckles was merely acting in what he thought was Ms. Grifos best interest, and one which could have happened to anyone. Neither of them have been convicted in connection with the incident, and in fact several of the charges have already been dropped.
