We had a concrete swimming pool built the summer of 2004. Price was $31,228 and we paid cash. It came with a "Limited Lifetime Transferable Warranty" which was one of the reasons we chose Carlton not to mention their pool quality comparison chart documenting that they offer wide shoulders and sidewalls, deep frost beams, thick shotcrete at stress points and 4000psi certified concrete. The second season (2005) cracks starting erupting throughout the pool. We called to report these issues to Steve with no follow up on Carltons end. It took hundreds of calls to finally get someone to come out and inspect. Finally, a few years later after many phone calls they came out, decided it was bad concrete and and sent a crew to jackhammer it out and replace it. The next year the cracks started erupting again and even worse this time. We have called time and time again, leaving messages with no return calls. A man did come out this summer and tried to caulk some of the cracks on the stairs, which looks awful. However, there were way too many and he only did a few on the stairs. We continue to call everyday and NO return phone calls from Carlton. When you spend 30k for a backyard focal point and it looks so shoddy you are embarrassed to have freinds and family over it has to be pretty bad, right?
