KIDS SAIL FREE
Cruise rates are in US dollars, per person and based on double occupancy. 3rd/4th/5th guests are free(lies) combinable with Carnival’s Fun Select rates only
this promotion is predatory in nature, targeting a delicate demographic ! I booked a Balcony cloud 9 room, carnival fun select rate (Kids sale free rate$1469 pp) is rated aprox 40% higher then dreaming of vacation sale ($989pp), the same room with two people total $2180 vs four people $3,682.52, even with being charged $1469 pp the total should be $3138( 1469x2 plus tax/fee 110x2) instead of $3682.52 if children are free. in fact the promotion is misleading because there is no criteria for the " defination of children".
the fact is if i got two seperate rooms it woulld of priced almost the same as if i was in the room with my children ! the carnival representive informed me that this deal only works in a room of five where the 5th person would only get charged taxes. why confuse people by advertising "kids" when this promotion is not geared toward them at all, and dont provide a discount to the 3rd or 4th child passenger whatsoever! its pathetic to target families with children fooling them that they would recieve a break(discount) with this bogus Promotion.
