Sarah, As I have stated in the past I cruised with your lines twice last year. The first time was in April with my friend and her children 5 of us total. We could not get a 5th bed that wasn't the size of a toddler bed. We had asked our room steward why when we book a room with 5 why would someone receive a toddler bed to sleep in when you know the age of the travels and the youngest was 10. That issue never got resolved. Then on my trip in August while on your ship I fell and broke my big toe due to a step that was not marked or lite. ( I have pictures and went to your medical on the ship to seek attention) I am diabetic and was given Tylenol and a bag of ice and was told to see my doctor when I returned home from my vacation. I spent most of my trip limping around or not doing much of anything with my guests due to my foot. I paid for two cabins and brought friends in from out of state to enjoy the experience with me and my sister. Then the huge issue with getting off the ship. There was a problems at customs and departing the ship which lead to many unhappy and unsettled travelers.. I was even more upset when arriving at my car to find my whole side window bashed out and all of the items inside my car stolen. I had parked in the Assigned parking area for Carnival cruise lines but when I went down to your security office the told me there was nothing they could do for me if I called the police. Are you kidding me do you really think I would trust Carnivals judgment after I was hurt on your ship and was not attended to properly. Now my personal SUV has been vandalized while in your parking garage. A gentlemen from the Queen Mary security came over and told us that he had seen that our SUV was broken into and that they had contacted security at Carnival but at no time did anyone DO ANYTHING! We never saw anyone from Carnival come to see if they could help instead the choose to hide in the security office. We had to find a place to fix the damaged window before we could even leave back to Arizona and it was a holiday weekend. We had to pay for an additional hotel rooms and the window. I am looking to cruise my normal two times a year but as you can see you have left a bad taste for your lines and employees. I have traveled Royal Caribbean for many years and with NO such problems. I have attempted to see if your company could redeem its bad behavior but as far as I can see your company is a " Collect and Go" You collect the money and once you go, to heck with your experience or damages to you or your personal property. I now understand why this company has been on the new feed watch...Considering I have spent more than 6,000 dollars on your cruise line last year its nice to know my experience is only given an "I'm sorry!" Thank god I wasn't one of your victims that was stricken with food poisoning or I could have added that to my list of unsatisfactory behavior. I have the photos of my SUV damage if you would like to see how your guests cars are watched while they are away traveling with you along with a list of items reported to the police that were stolen out of my SUV. I'm sure as many unsuspecting guest cruise along thinking their cars and trucks are safe since you all know our cars our in your garage and we pay a pretty penny to leave them there mistake was to think our property would be monitored by at least a security company since those cars are left there for many days a time only to find out there is NO SECURITY!!!!! So I'm sorry that your company doesn't see my issue as something they should address. I have choose to spend more money and travel with a sister company of Royal Caribbean than to waste one more dollar on Carnival. You are NOT the Fun Ships if you haven't noticed the media has crucified Carnival for due cause. Barbara Anderson Barbara, Here is my contact information if you should need anything in the future.
