Every week I am promised furniture! There is always an excuse...weather, broken truck, etc... I leave messages that are never returned.
HR, the owner, has promised me delivery this week....again. After 9 1/2 mths, I don't know what to believe.

Don't Expect The Sheriff's Department to Respond

If you have not already done so, you need to file a complaint with the NC Attorney General's office. They cannot file charges but they need all the ammunition they can get to share with federal and local authorities.
You may also want to call or write Senator Basnight's office (NC Senator) and indicate that you are dissatisfied with the lack of movement on shutting Mr. Privette and Carolina Furniture down as well as getting back any deposits due to you. I can't gaurentee it, but the Senator's office may be able to apply pressure where it is needed to help move charges along.
Good Luck....My deposit was $4,000+ and I am still trying to collect.

As of today, the company has received over 1000 orders since my order was placed April 11. HR informed me that I will get my furniture.
I also told him about this site and a lady in Roswell (Janie). We live in neighboring towns. I thought we both could have furniture delivered on the same truck.
HR told me that he mailed her a 600.00 refund today. Janie...please respond if you receive a check.
I am giving HR one more chance. I hope he comes through and delivers my furniture.
I will update everyone if and when I receive my order.
