!!!!!! If I had EXCELLENT credit (800+) I won't get this deal!!!!!!

In attempting to consolidate multiple delinquent accounts, to save from going to charge-off, I applied for online loan. Received call within 48 hours with pre approved $110,000 by a 3rd party lender at 4.25% paid in 300 payments of almost $600 each. No payment due for 6 months.

To qualify I must first give collateral of $6,600 (6%) which I get back at end of the loan term, unless i default on payment (i.e. late 30days) this $6,600 will directly go to the person who called me to arrange for this loan.

Reply email assured me this is not a scam. They are a legitimate company.

If they are such a legitimate company, they should not have a problem with my sending the $6,600 to a 3rd party escrow agent to hold the security deposit until after the original pre-approved $110,000 gets deposited to my bank, at which time they wait an additional 30 days before they get my $6,600 collateral? (to give me time to take the money and pay my bills before they cancel the transfer after they take my money)

I have no problem to even give them the $6,600 as a finder's fee for finding me a 3rd party lender. I do have a problem with EXACT same story re-played all over the internet of people who are already hurting to get further bent over by such scams.

However, the private lender is only willing to issue you the loan as long as the collateral payment is made prior to the deposit. Unfortunately, there is no way around this obstacle. I can rest assure you that we are a legititmate company and as long as the payment is made, we can issue you the loan within the 24 hour time frame.

Look closely at spelling of.... legititmate company..... in their reply.

Can't even spell it much less be it.

First looked up their website www.carsonlendinggroup.net
Has almost everything a company cant tell the difference between good or bad from just the site.

Then goggled carsonlendinggroup and got 2 hits - both from www.carsonlendinggroup.net

Went to www.yellowpages.com and looked up business name - no such business
Went to www.yellowpages.com and looked up phone number - 0 results

Went to www.whois.com and found their domain registered on 2009-06-23 from address in Canada.
Went to http://domain-daily.com/ and found this domain to be registered on 6/3/2009

went to http://ripoffreport.com/ and though I didn't find any mention of this one name, i did find exact same story repeated many times over and I am now reporting this site before I get cheated or anyone else gets cheated of what little they still have in hopes of getting out of bad situation.

How hard is it to register a site? $9.99
How hard is it to get an 888 phone number? Not very
How much effort dose it take to set up a fake site and fake address? This is the IT generation; my 8 year old daughter can do this.

Nobody even heard of these people who didn't exist until yesterday and now they claim to want to help you for a small collateral?

Moral of this story
If it's too good to be true..

Friends and potential victims / co-victims, times are tough as it is, this is just making matters much worse. Loss of your precious time, loss of your money, loss of your peace of mind, in the process of getting trying to keep your head above the water, you find you have just traded your lifejacket for the 200 pound ROCK.
