i received a phone call from a landline in dallas, texas, saying that i was the object of a lawsuit filed by cash advance usa for failure to payback a loan....the persons invovled in the scam said that they were part of morgan and associates....but would not give clear names or the location of their business...
i was told that to avoid arrest and "save my life" i would need to verify all my personal information (which they had accurately collected) and set up a withdrawl to cover the loan amount, their legal fees and processing...and that i should give them the name of my attorney or they would appoint one for me....at an additional cost, of course...
the thick accents sounded indian or pakistan, with poor use of english language, and frequent use of threats to my well being....if you call back the 972-996-3234, you will get a canned message saying that the person is not available at that extension...
interestingly, i have never had a loan from any cash advance or payday online websites, so i quickly checked my accounts to be sure that no illicit activity had taken place, as in deposits or withdrawals...but these folks had all of my information, obviously hacked...i alerted my bank to the situation and placed account protective measures on both checking and savings....
when this company called back again, i demanded that they send me all the supposed lawsuit information, their addresses, and the names of the people with whom i had already spoken, to include their attorney who identified himself as "joan"....
what frightens me is the fact that they collected all of my personal info from somewhere...and that they are trying to extort money! beware folks...

I have found a way to deal a little justice, if they can use their phones because we are all calling in on their phones being obnoxious. Their current number is 512-501-3638 still stating from this law firm.. I actually had Cash Advance USA out of Florida on the phone and called them.. very fun.. I have over 20 people calling them every thirty minutes.. would be great if we actually got 200-300 people calling these idiots.

the phone calls i received from legal firm representing advance cash usa loan lawsuit indicated that the name of their firm was "breslin-morgan and associates"...low and behold, upon searching for this name in dallas, tx, there actually is a tax attorney named "morgan-breslin" and i subsequently warned her office of the use of her name by scammers with hacked info trying to extort cash....perhaps her associates will get involved??!!...we can only hope, as the indian/pakistan group must have opened the yellow pages to "attorneys" and just picked a name....
