really want to like this place. I love that they are a cats only boarding facility, so the cats are not stressed out by dogs barking. however, both times I boarded cats at Cat's Inn, I've been very disappointed. Here's why. My cats were on a raw food diet. the form this particular brand of raw food takes is in ground up chicken, salmon, and veggies frozen into nuggets. you need to keep the big bag in the freezer, and just thaw what you need for that day, or as long as 4 days in advance. any longer, and you risk having nasty bacteria grow in the food. both times I explained this to the staff there, both times they said ok, they would put it in a freezer, and both times when I picked up my cat, I discovered that all the frozen nuggets were thawed into a big bag of raw meat mush. the trips I took were longer than 4 days. in fact one of them was for two weeks. they obviously did not put the food in a freezer. I suspect that they don't even have a freezer in their facility, and neglected to tell me this at all. thankfully my cats did not get sick from this experience. I've had much better luck with Pet Camp in San Francisco, and Wag Hotel looks good too but I haven't had a reason to try it yet.
