I beg you do not work for this floozy company. We were hired on by a recruiter who only knows the words "cool,, yeah.." We were put through grueling "training" ie 120 pages tested on first day, mostly fail rate test 2nd day, another 3rd day, 4th & 5th days field ride. My test scores were the highest in the class: 100, 97, & 86 (bc partial credit not given, I only missed one) I drove 1 hr each way to Cbeyond every morning. Woke up at 430 and was not home until 8pm and had to shower eat and study for the next test. On day 4 I doubled and even tripled some of my fellow trainees which was amazing (I cold called 75 businesses and told them about our company and set 2 appointments to come back and sell the packages... you are expected to close 1 in a month) with huge pats on the back. "Awesome, great job"
Day 5: I arrive sick but, mind you, STILL came in. Mike grabs me and says to come back with him... "I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you are not going to Atlanta for the next training session and you are fired" How could this be???? I had a smile on my face through ALL of this CRAP.
My Rebuttal: "May I ask on what grounds?"
Mike: "Well maybe it was because you came in sick today, or, whatever, I dont know."
Me: "But I am still here and ready to go."
Mike: "Well maybe it was because of your grades."
(I have listed my grades above as I had the best in my class and very high overall company average.)
-I was dressed perfectly and got along with everyone.

This company is SICK. During the field days about 95% of anyone who had heard about Cbeyond HATES the company (literally I had a stack of cards that I wrote "they hate us" on) We are taught to solicit in no soliciting areas. We sell a product that nobody wants. The turnover rate is disgusting ( I would say avg 3 mos before you are looking for another job or have one.) Notice on your field day that nobody in the company has been there for more than 6 months--1 year-- thats a stretch. My manager told the person who took me out on the ride to "make her hate it" this is a part of the business model... of course my guy wasnt a dip sh* and we laughed about it. They treat you like first graders. Obviously unqualified leaders-- one of which today told an employee "we dont sit on furniture" to another as if he was 5. Well, I do sit on furniture and I am not a complete idiot with an undeserved power trip. I go to work to build a career not play house with a bunch of misfits who are all guided by, bottom line, a bunk product that any joe schmo can go hook up for plenty cheaper. LOL they say you will recieve gas reimbursements and a $250 bonus for completing the training if you stay on for 3 months-- Guess what!! pretty much nobody Does!! Guys, stay in bed dont get roped into this scam. The people who work here are suckers... and being desperate, so was I. Please dont be the next or you WILL find out the hard way. Look around and pay attention. Its not even for the desperate- U will regret.
Further I have called my boss, our team leader, hr director, marketing director and NONE of them have called me back. (Maybe bc they fired me and could give no reason.) I get along with everyone... this was a stupid mistake on their part bc they are illegits who dont know how to run a business. PS dont give me some stupid reason to backup cbeyond. I have a great track record and I dont want to be a part of this scam business--- this technology is old news and already replaced anyways.- My point, dont work for these people they will waste valuable time that you should be spending looking for a job. If you have any pride go elsewhere, they bring in a billion people and you will be selling doors, door to door. then they will tell you to get the hell out bc your co harrasses them constantly then slam the DOOR in your face.
