Cedarwood Cattery, owner Karen Vance After 3 months (with a deposit and a final payment totaling $900.00) reneged on contact to sell kitten on the day of delivery. Altona, New York

After 3 months of waiting for the Abyssinian kitten, the Cedarwood Cattery owner reneged to transport and deliver the expected kitten. I had put down an initial deposit and paid the balance in full to seal the contract. The seller did not even have the decency to call to inform me that she sold the kitten to another customer. In which she stated this fact to me at a later date.

On the promised day of delivery, I called the owner to confirm that everything was in order. Her response was affirmative. Without explanation the funds were credited back to me.

Totally unethical business practice. Must have gotten a more profitable deal.
