You will work like a dog, go without showers and a decent meal, all to net a $400.00 paycheck if you are lucky.  Their starting pay is .32 a mile, but this company beats you out of the miles so badly that it isn't funny.  They will tell you the run is 500 paid miles, and ask for an ETA to the customer. So, you figure, about 8/10 hours, depending on the weight of the freight, and the terrain you will have to travel, taking into account losing time to scale out the load, and fuel.  Then you get to the customer, and find out you've been shorted 100 miles!!  Which can represent another two hours of travel time!
   Unless you get on the Canadian Regional Fleet (which SUCKS big time!) you will not get an EZ-Pass, and will be paying all tolls out of pocket, requesting an expense authorization, and hope to get reimbursed.  This company will nickle and dime every penny that they can from the hard working professional trucker, they get rich, you work yourself into an early grave. 
   The majority of their fleet are International Pro-Stars. Pretty on the outside, but miserable to live in.  You are not allowed a pet, or a power inverter.  You will not be able to cook in your truck in order to eat healthier and save money.  I use a small propane tank w/ one small grill in order to heat water for instant coffee and washing.  I have a 400 watt inverter which will power my laptop and charge my cel-phone.  That's it.
   Their "bunk" heaters are a joke!  Expect to freeze to death in the winter, and there is no "bunk cooler", you have to idle in order to sleep comfortably during the hot summer months.  They will bust your chops against idling, otherwise, you will be hot, sweaty, sticky and miserable, and be driving half asleep from lack of a decent nights rest.  Worse for the nighttime drivers who try to sleep in 80%, 90% and up heat.
    Work for Celadon only if you are desperate for a job.  They like to claim that they are "The top rated company for driver satisfaction".  LIARS!!!  They are losing 100 drivers a week.  Steve Russell is spending a fortune on advertising in order to get drivers...but he can't keep them.
    Oh, one more thing.  You won't get paid a dime in detention time until you've been in the dock FOUR HOURS OR MORE.  Nice, huh?  Your time is worthless to Celadon.

    The bottom of the barrel has been in orientation lately.  Men so fat that they can barely walk.  Celadon will hire the one's that no-one else would touch.

    If you are starving, need a truck to live in, come work for Celadon. 
Otherwise, you can do a lot better for yourself, avoid this company like the plaque!
