A few days before Father's Day 2013, my father went in to the hospital for racing heart beat a before father's day and not feeling well. The hospital cardiologist said his heart was fine and after a few days he was ready to go home. Three out of four doctors released my father, but Dr. Khan, a sleep apnea quack needed to make more money that month. My father the golden goose, was told by Dr. Khan that he needed a sinus biopsy. Once my father was sedated, Dr. Khan did a bait and switch and performed a lung biopsy instead knowing my father was a bleeder because he had a blood port in his chest. Dr. Khan the Killer punctured both of my father's lungs and he bled completely out and coded. An ER doctor saved my father only to be slowly killed as Dr. Khan's posse of doctors tried to find a mystery illness to justify their med mal. BTW - the lung biopsy came back negative. On Aug. 6th, they euthenized my father saying there was no hope. Well, my father was unable to talk due to the tubes all in him and he was recovering. Despite losing blood his mind was intact and was able to answer and communicate with us. That was the problem, they said my father signed the authorization and I have yet to see that paper, and they tried to keep him sedated not to tell us the truth. Then when my mother finally left his side to go home and rest, he takes a turn when he was out of ICU. BTW that hospital is filthy and bugs everywhere. I tried to get other doctors and second opinions and Centennial said these are their only doctors and we won't get another doctor to come see him. I was advised by attorneys to move him to another hospital and Centennial resisted also. They didn't want him to survive and have to pay for his long term care. I will be reporting fraud as I review the charges, I see doctors charges on dates I know they weren't there and on vacation. After they did that procedure, it should be paid by their malpractice insurance, not the government.
I will be reporting them to Medicaid and Medicare Fraud, reporting them to every governing agency on the unnecessary procedures performed on my father prior to and on June 20th that ultimately killed him on Aug.6th. They are continuing to bill Medicaid from June 20th to Aug. 6th of ICU and doctors charges that I don't recognize and who I know did not visit my father at all. The procedure turned out to be negative and 4 out of 5 doctors said my father could leave the hospital on June 20th but a sleep specialist insisted on a sinus biopsy whisking my father away to a change to a lung biopsy instead where they punctured both lungs and he bled out completely. They saved his life but he was unable to recover with their continued unnecessary procedure looking for a "mystery illness." Amid lies and misrepresentation and doctors and more procedures they continued to charge medicaid instead of having their malpractice insurance paying. His oncologist, general doctor approved the procedure and others and continued their own charging for services they did not do and chemo meds that were of no longer any use giving us hope it would help him. The doctors acted in trying to mitigate their liability and ultimately euthanized him by talking my mother into it being mercy. The hospital offered an autopsy, then when my mother agreed to it, they said oops they don't do them. Then my father's body of sent to the funeral home before my mother could authorize it in less than an hour. This is more than a single doctor or incident - I believe this has been going on for years with the oncologist and then with his buddies and hospital sucking up funds from my father's medicare, health insurance, and VA insurance with unnecessary procedures. If he didn't have such great insurance, he'd be alive today.
I want to write about this - it's the new mafia, they are killing people and getting paid for it. We should be able to use RICO against them. So please contact me with your stories at this hospital and other hospitals and doctors. I will be starting a blog and support for families going through same. This was too easy for them for my father to be the only victim. Sadly, I feel there are others and we cannot allow it to go on - I want them to see the life of a wonderful man they killed. My father ensured every time anyone took a Delta flight it was safe to fly, to be let down by a cackle of men who took an oath to do no harm. They harmed a great man, husband, father, grandfather, and spirit. His father lived to be 98 and his mother of 102 is still alive. My father just turned 69 and took great care of himself.
