Yes, I to have been a scammed by Center For Credit Counseling. I to researched the company in June 2003. No bad reports with the BBB and everything appeared to be running smoothly until end of last month when I recieved a letter from one of the credit card companies that they were going to send my account to collections.

I began to research and discovered that one credit card had not received a payment since November 2004 while the other had recieved there last payment in March of this year. I quickly called the bank and instructed them to stop any further withdrawls from my account from this company. The bank was first reluctant to do this until I explained to her about the credit card payments that had not been paid yet money was still withdrawn from my account each month.

She then looked for those specific amounts and realized that they had in fact been doing so and for a small fee she put a freeze on any further withdrawls. That has to be your first step. I've made numerous calls to the company with no return calls. I will pursue this. Reading all the other reports has made me feel a little better in that I'm not alone in this. I do believe if we all work together in contacting everyone we can think of...SCREAMING as loud as we can scream someone is bound to hear us and pursue this. How about it guys...are we ready to fight these sorry SOB's?
