During the first week of February, I received a phone call from the Centric group stating that I qualified for a 2500 credit Mastercard. Additionally, I would receive a travel membership, free airplane tickets, and hotels for three days. I was told that if I used my centric mastercard I would receive 20-50% off my travel purchase. I was told that if I wanted a 0% APR the cost would be 369.00. I would receive all of this wonderful stuff within a week. About a month later I received the travel stuff which was not as decsribed. NO CARD--but an application to apply for one. So I called them and they said all I had to do was fill it out and send it in and I would receive my card within a month. That was almost 6 months ago. I have called numerous times and would get no answer, an answering machine.
FINALLY, I reached a human being who checked on my card and said that it was going to be mailed within a week. The following week I received my application back. I called and they said that the company returns the application to you when they are ready to send your card. I was assured that if I did not receive my card by7/11-- to call them. Centric also told me that i did not pay for the mastercard that I paid for the travel package and they were KINDLY issuing me a mastercard. This was a bold face LIE.
WELL I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CALL AND THE NUMBER IS ALWAYS BUSY. I am not sure what I am going to do. The bank will not return my money since it is over 60 days. I really think a class action suit needs to be filed against the company due to there are so many people that has been affected.

I called the State of FLorida's attorney general, who referred me to the FBI for international fraud. I have come to find out that this company is based out of Canada and moves around from state to state. The US government has set up an agreement with Canadia to get involved in these types of scams.
Please do the following.
First, contact your local FBI so there is record on file.
Secondly, contact the Canadian phonebusters line, 1888-495-8501 and file a complaint with them. They will forward the information on the the local canadian police. \Even those who did get their money back one way or the other, please file these complaints so that this company may be shut down.
