Around January 21st, I got a call from Centurion Financial. The lady had information about a Credit Card that I had recently had applied and been turned down for. Because they had this information I thought they were legit. I was told that the processing fee was $249 which would be debited from my checking account once I activated the Mastercard. I asked numerous questions and was told that the bank that would hold the card was Centurion (which is a legit foreign bank).

I was also told that I was also recieving 30 days of free long distance from Protel. I was given a customer service number for both Centurion and Protel. A few weeks went by and I called to check the status. I have tried to call the customer service phone number for Centurion dozens of times, always recieving voice mail. After leaving a dozen messages I thought something might be wrong. I tried to call the customer service number that I was given for Protel, I found that I was given the wrong number, the number I had was for a Insurance company.

Well February 8th came along and my bank account was debited for $249 from Centurion and then on February 10th my account was debited another $59.90 from Protel. I recieved a postcard in the mail from Protel on February 11th or 12th with a phone number on it. I called it and I was told tough luck. At this time I started doing research and I found this site. After reading tons of complaints I tried to get my money back. I followed the advise of Donna from Texas and it looks like I am getting a refund on the $249. If you were also scammed call the processing company Global Marketing in Tampa, FL at 866-849-1486 and speak with Janay. She was quite helpful.

Global Marketing is no longer processing payments for Centurion because of the fruad, so hopefully if you are a victem it happended while Global Marketing was still processing payments for Centurion. I am still working on Protel and the $59.90.
