So, every since CenturyLink bought out Qwest there have been unending calls to my unlisted and unpublished telephone number,even though I pay Century Link extra money for an unpublished and unlisted telephone number. These scam artists & telemarketers can only be getting this kind of personal information by CenturyLink illegally selling it to them and thus violating my DoNot Call Registery Rights as well. We have filed numberous FCC & FTC complaints against these rip off
CenturyLink phony baloney outfit to no avail or,the FCC & FTC Complaints have not be acted on.
Additionally CenturyLink is over-charging for 12 mps High Speed Internet Service for $19.95 but is billing me for $64.99 and is most definitely not providing anywhere near the 12 mps that Qwest did. Therefore CenturyLink is committing widespread consumer fraud.false & deceptive advertising,false and deceptive trade practices,and highly questional if not out right illegal business practices,as well. Therefore CenturyLink has to be the Worst Telephone & Internet Provider in the USA! Buyer Beware. The FCC & FTC need to revoke CenturyLink licenses to even do business.

I'd like to debate this more with you, but I just discovered my Century Link "shill check" came in the mail this afternoon. I'm on my way to spend my hard earned money.
Once again, what date did you start having these problems....you know, the exact day Century Link took over.

In reply to the CenturyLink Sill name Ken your crooked pals at CentuyLink never offered me the lower $19.95 DSL Internet and instead almost doubled what I paid Qwest for 12 mps so stop your stupid shill job for CenturyLink as I and others have started filing FCC & FTC Complaints against CenturyLink and all the little crooked scams.

It is apparent that the rebuttal written here was by someone with CenturyLink. If you don't like for people to complain, or you don't want to hear people's issues and concerns with corporations then why are you on a website called ripoff report????? Ralph is not the only person that this has happened to, I have had nothing but issues since yes I will say The Day CenturyLink took over, not to mention the website upon website where I have read other customers experiences with CenturyLink, and guess what everyone of them is filled with unhappy customers with horrible experiences from their customer services to the ridiculous termination fees. So KEN before you start taking people's complaints so personally, and maybe once your not an employee of Centurylink you will see that everything that Ralph spoke about is not only happening to many many others but that everything that was said are true comments! Centurylink is an unethical company, with ridicoulous policies, and non existent contracts that they will try and hold you to and charge you for! So it seems for now KEN, YOU are the one that needs to stop bitching and if this doesn't effect or concern you then keep your rude comments to yourself KEN!!!!"
First, I don't work for Century link...never have. Second, The personnel and services at Century Link did NOT go from good one day to bad the next. Third, how can they even attempt to hold customers to "non existent" contracts? How can they hope to charge their "ridiculous termination fees" on a "non-existent" contract. Did you read YOUR "non-existent" contract?
Fourth, ANYONE posting on ROR is going to get Rebuttals, some they may like, some they may not, but they'll still get them...it's part of the sites operation. If you don't like the site configuration, don't use it, "JIGGYLVSKNICKS1."

I DO have phone and DSL service with them and had it with Qwest before them, with no problems. The service is reliable and at a relatively reasonably price. I have noticed NO change since they took over. Guess, they like me more than they do you, "JIGGYLVSKNICKS1."

NOT true Ralph, any time you are online or purchase something requiring your tel #, it's very likely to be added to a list and sold to others.

Okay, Ralph, I'll bite, why should you be paying $19.95 instead of $64.99? Did you sign up for $19.95 and just because it was you, and they were Century Link instead of Qwest, they raised your price to $64.99?
Qwest's DSL network DID NOT CHANGE when Century Link took over...just how did you determine you're NOT getting the service that you should be?
You don't have a clue, do you? You also don't know the day Century Link took over and started scamming you, do you?
Ralph, I don't have a dog in this fight, but if you're so unhappy, disconnect your phone line, get a cell phone, get your Internet service elsewhere and stop bitching.
