I recieved a phone call from Heather, a Recruiter, at Certified Payment Processing telling me about the company.  She told me I would be getting PRESET QUALIFIED APPOINTMENTS.  I was not sure about the company and told her so.  Heather told me to go through training to learn more about the company.  I agreed to go through training ON THE WEB as they company does not have any people anywhere but in the corporate office and I would never see or meet my "team leader".  That was a "red flag" to me, but was willing to give it a chance.  I went through training or listened to a woman read a script for 8 hours about the company.  Still not impressed. After training, I go on my first appointment. In order to get each appointment, you must call your team leader to see where you will be going.  When I got to the appointment, the store owner told me he did not want to meet with me and would have cancelled the appointment, but the appointment setter TOLD HIM someone would be coming.  During both training and recruiting, I was told the business owner has the ability to say not to come.  LIES LIES LIES.  Each appointment, if you were to call what I did appointments, I was told not interested and to leave.  This is during my introduction.  I have been in sales for over 20 years and know how to run an appointment.  These were nothing but go out see a person, call your team leader to have him sell the person.  I figured out the company does it that way.  Have some "salesman" spend his/her time and money while the team leader gets the phone call.  The Team Leader has nothing vested as it is the individual who losses if no sale.  I called the recuiter and a sales manager to discuss everything and both will screen calls by caller ID.

Do not waste your time with this company as they are a scam and not an honest company.  The salesman is provided with nothing, but told to go out and hit the streets.  The training CD I recieved was a blank CD with nothing on it.  I asked for business cards and told to make them myself.  The appointments are nothing but having a business owners name without the owner caring about appointment.  I even asked for an appointment to be verified and was lied about that as the person told to ask to meet does not exist.

There are other jobs out there find a company that is honest and not a fraud like Certified Payment Processing.
