I had posted my resume online with different job sites, and with in a few hours I received a call from CPP. They explained what a great company it was and how they were one of only 3 real Credit card processing companies. the nice recruiter said just try it, they ran a quick background check and told me training would begin the next day. The training was all done online and lasted roughly 6 hours. I begin getting worried when they told me the main thing you needed to do was follow this script and get people on the phone with you Team Leader.  The training really just barely explained the product and some of there services. The final part of the training was explaining all about the amount of money you would make for what you sold.

A lot of the people in the conference call where surprised to hear that the people the appointments where with had been called and they hadn't called to get information. They where told that the meetings where set up by people interested in our service. Red Flag number 2.

The next day I headed out to my first set appointment, when I arrived for my 9:30 appointment I found out the Business didn't even open till 11.My Team Leader said they must have got the time wrong and suggested I do some cold calls. I figured ok a mistake can happen. I went back near 1130 spent most of the day at the business and we sold the account. Now I figured we sold 2 accounts at one location this is not bad at all.

The next day more appointments and then the pattern started of people who had no idea that I was coming there or that they had told them no they didn't want to see anyone. I still continued doing cold calls and going to my appointments in which 90 percent had zero interest of me being there.

Then people would ask why can't we see this in writing? my last company showed me everything in Writing. I was told well we don't show anyone anything because they will just shop our rates. This set off the 3rd red flag. The final red flag came when I stopped by the account I sold on my first day it had been  days including the weekend and they still had not gotten a machine or had anyone follow up with them. I asked my team leader about this and he said he would look into it. The next day I told him I need to know what was going on it had been 10 days and I was wondering when I was going to get paid for the deal. He said he would get back to me just keep seeing my appointments. I decided then and there thsi supposed Customer driven business was just a complete and utter ripoff. And went back to my house, When they called they couldn't answer any of my questions and then lied and said they would call the business and explain the error.  The following week I received a payment card for 75.00 Yep this big Promise of 325.00 is the least you can make turned into 75.00 I had driven to all my appointment driven over 600 miles in 10 days and was paid 75.00 dollars.

If you get a job offer trust me I have been in sales 19 years and have done lots of cold calls and meetings and I have never seen an honest company do business like this. This job is the greatest scam of all time.
