I am an investor who was duped by numerous salesmen who work for CD Hopkins Metals in California. One of whom is the supposed owner Chadwick Hopkins. They Lost over 100K of my retirement due to excessive brokerage commissions charged by CD Hopkins Metals, for which James Burbage is the financial backer whom I have personally spoken with, they also charged ridiculous monthly interest and spread fees which were not explained at all!!! After some research I found that Lloyds Lending Owned by James Burbage and Frank Gaudino were charging along with Hunter Wise Company out of California all of the excessive interest and spread fees!!! I am currently looking for others that are putting together a lawsuit.. If anyone out there is in the same situation that I find myself in, please help!

All I can tell you is that James Burbage owned a company , LLoyds Asset Management, based in Florida with offices in Las Vegas, California, and Maryland. The company has since closed and now I truly believe that he has opened CD Hopkins metals under a fellow salespersons name. I googled Chadwick Hopkins and his name was associated with LLoyds asset managment as a salesman. I also read a very interesting article in the Palm Beach Post about Mr Burbages financial practices amongst many more interesting articles. From what I have read there are law suits and civil suits already in the making. Good Luck to you

Sorry to hear about your incident with these individuals and their companies. What I can tell you is that these same names continue to surface and that there is a watchful eye over them. It would be your best interest to contact the CFTC which is the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as well as the Attorney General for the states in which they operate. Clearly they are not conducting themselves with the ethical and moral codes that should be required when acting as an advisor to ones finances. Here is the link to the CFTC -http://www.cftc.gov.
