Chaney's Used Auto They need to be reported!! Avon Park Florida

Hey everyone, Please don't buy from here.. we came across this place when I visit a family member in Avon park.. When we stopped at chaney's he offered us to walk away with a car that same day.. I was not sure but my aunt just got a vehicle from them 3 weeks before and they said he would approve me. So I looked around didn't get a car that day but my father did.. Two weeks later when my dad made his payment I ended up getting a car. First off None of the cars have prices on them what they do is ask how much you have so they can soak you dry and take all of it. I told them I only had 500.00 he said I will give you this 2002 Infiniti for 1000.00 down.. I said ok sounds good. I drove away that same day 2 weeks later they repo my car. I drove 2hrs away to find out why he said my check didn't go through and he wants cash now but advised me I need to give him 1000.00 plus another 900.00 for towing. I ended up paying all that was owed. When I made my first payment of 300.00 2 weeks later mind you this was my first payment he gave me a receipt back saying that I owe a balance of 215.00 but it was crossed out. The clerks said don't worry about it that is wrong you don't owe anything. Well mean time my aunts car got repo and she tried to get it back and just like everyone else's case he wants more that what was owed.. She said no so he took the car.. About 1 year from that date my dads car was also repo.. he only owe a balance of 1100.00 he called and tried to find out how much he needed to pick up his car they said 350 his payments were only 175 every 2 weeks.. my dad said ok.. he drove 2hrs away and tried to pick up the car and then they said he needs to pay 650.. My dad said ok but then chaney came into the office and advs his clerk that my dad needed to pay 900 today or he could not get his car back.. My dad said no and they took the car.. Ever since that I found the company to have fraudulent activity.. Anyhow two years passed by and I was almost done with my car payments I only owed about 1200.00 on the car. All of a sudden my car gets repo.. I called he said I would need to come in.. I advised them I live 2hrs away he said well you need to bring 900 to get your car it was 300 for my payment and 600 in towing. I said why was towed. They reply with I have a balance on the acct of 215.00 the same 215.00 that was crossed out that they said don't worry about. I drove to the office 2hrs away and when I got there to pay and get my car back they did not want to give it to me. I asked to speak with chaney and he would not speak with me he kept sending his agents to speak with me. the agent on the lot kept asking me instead of getting your car you can just take the money and put a down payment on another car. I said no because I only owed 1200.00 on mine so why would I pay another 3 years to buy another car.. they still did not want to give me my car.. I got very upset and he told me If I didn't get off the property they would call the police. I advised don't worry about it I would call myself.. I called the police and they came and finally chaney came out of his office and told them to ask me how much money I had.. I didn't want to say.. the cop told I needed to let him know.. I advise I have 1200.00 to pay off my car.. chaney told the cop if I wanted my car back I needed to give him 3000.00 that was 1800.00 more than what I owed. I ask why so much he said since i live in Orlando he had to tow the car from Orlando to Lakeland then Lakeland to Avon park. Each tow he charged me 900.00 dollars. I told that cop there was no way it can be that much. The cop told me chaney can charge me what ever he wants. Long story short I gave him 3000.00 to pay off my car and get it back.. Please it you want my advice learn from my mistake and do not buy from here. They will get you in a car but you will end up paying way more that what was told to you and its to much of a hassle. Please read other reports about this company.. and if anyone wants to open a lawsuit against them please advise me because I am all for it.. thank you..
