My bill suddenly jumped over $50 without notice.  I call and they claim they will give me some promotional discounts that will last for 6 months.  The first month yes but then it spikes up each month after that.  My last bill charged me a fee for having a bundle package as a discount!  A discount that costs money to have!

I lag out constantly.  I am suppose to save by bundling my internent, phone and cable.  They add some new line up on cable and charge an extra $5-$10  they charge $39.98 for a home phone line!  Save!  I can get home phone land line cheaper from  Sprint!  Their advertised cost on the internet is good but beware they WILL jack the price and not tell you how much nor will they tell you the truth when you call.

Their service is spotty at times with internet speed being advertised at 30 Mbps and you are lucky if they give you 15 Mbps after the little promotional.  It is a bait and switch technique.  They bait you with good service and price and then switch you to a lower service with twice the price or more.

The customer service WILL lie about what they can offer you with flat out deceit.  They will tell you one price by phone and your bill will be completely different.

I have had charter for more than a decade and they have changed from bad support to flat out lies on sales and support.
