i have talked to 5 or 6 people at charter and the franchise authority....in each case it is a different story, but they show the 171.00 payment but do not know where it was applied...one representative said it was made last year another says i have to prove it was made even though their records show a payment on 6/26/02.
i am not sure the original payment was even due....
every time i call it is a different rep, with a different story... every time i have communicated with charter it has been a problem and their files are never noted properly. i believe the burden of proof should be on them not me.
my cable was reinstated after my payment was made now it is disconnected again and the want me to pay again for their sloppy bookkeeping and customer service errors. this has been frustrating and poor customer service on their part.
i should get free cable after all of this aggravation and poor service...
