24th to Dec. 27th my itinerary times were changed to 8:05 am flight from LAX to SAC. arriving at 9:30 am ..I paid an airport shuttle 60 bucks to Lax and to return to my home on the 27th..the shuttle arrived in perfect timing 4:00 am
after a few stops we arrived at LAX by 5:15 I felt I had plenty of time to check in my bags and grab my boarding pass..US airways the line was small and I figured wow this is fast the touch screen was an easy one step and I figured I
would pay more for my luggage that was filled with Holiday gifts. my printout sheet had a confirmation number and the screen was ready I followed the directions to find that my number was not in the system I begged for help which
none came until I was finally showing my irritation a manager said your in the wrong terminal I said this is US AIR he said you need the US AIR at the other end of the airport in terminal 8 I rushed with the assistance of a shuttle driver to the other end of the airport I found the terminals only went to 7 and the 7th was UNITED well now I'm seriously freaking out now 7 :00 am I'm panicking a kind baggage gent, said go to the UNITED line they are piggy backing with US AIR the line was long but I finally reached the touch screen typed in my locator number and guess what? I wasn't in the system ..I asked for assistants the first worker walked away and preceded to say ill be right with you she proceeded to go to another worker to laugh , shoot the breeze, and gossip its now 7:30 am panic turns to freaking out and a supervisor finally assisted me as she typed in all the numbers on my voucher she said guess what..You were bumped to DEC 23rd ..I said what?? well apparently Cheap Tickets and US AIR sold my seat to a higher dollar. and left me in the cold ..the worker said Ill do what I can to get you on its now 8:00 am..I found 1 flight today at 10:30 pm they wanted me to wait in the airport terminal from 8:00 am to 10:30 pm the kicker was I would return at 5:30 am on the 27th my family would have had to be up at 2 am to get me to airport on time..I asked the terminal supervisor what do I do? she said nothing everything is booked I said I want to be refunded she said that's not on us that's CHEAP TICKETS ...Another worker
noticed my anger asked what was up I explained it all she said did you go through CHEAP TICKETS? I said how did you know she said it happens all the time ..finally I called CHEAP TICKETS and was put on hold for 25 min then I re-called was put on hold 10 min its now 9 am the supervisor contacted me and I said I wanted to be refunded she said ok done ..well I didn't care about the money I wanted to see my family ..I had to call my best friend to pick me up since I paid 30 dollars to shuttle it in 60 dollars total got home and my family was freaking out we were all excited about our reunion ..Now I was scheduled by the DMV for a drive test to that of which I had to change it was scheduled the 26th I had to request a different date ..now I'm heading home freaking and angry I called CHEAP TICKETS I asked for a supervisor after a long wait the supervisor .. told me I was contacted about the itinerary change I said ok show me the e-mail and proof of this he claimed it was an "audio" ..I said you sold my seat to a higher bidder and just tossed me to the curb ....thanks for the the worst Christmas ..save yourself from the anger ..and never use CHEAP TICKETS or US AIR ..Derrick
