I bought a $59 membership. When I joined I was told I can travel as a courier to Paris and Beijing cheaply. I specifically named those 2 cities, I planned on going there. A rep. said they also guarantee the cheaptest tickets in the industry.
When I try to book a courier flight to Paris they tell me they dont fly there, they also dont do courier flights to Beijing (as promised)and to call Cheaptickets. They offered me a flight to Paris for $590, meanwhile Orbitz.com had one for $500. When I get my credit card bill, they charged me $69 not $59 for membership.
When I asked for a refund they said I had to do it in writing then I received a letter saying I dont qualify for one. Even though they lied about what they offered and the cost of membership. I have made a complaint with Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint with the Attorney General of Colorado. Waiting for a response.

Again, I state that you have the wrong company. Cheap TICKETS is NOT the one you are complaining about. You are complaining about Cheap TRIPS. 2 different companies...Although I would NOT Recommend booking with Cheap Tickets either, but for completely different reasons (most which are stated in the letter dated 1/9/03 from a former employee. CheapTrips.com IS under investigation here in Colorado. Although I respect your opinion and experience, it helps to have the right company before you file any sort of complaint or lawsuit...

My response it to Amy whose boyfirend works for Cheap Tickets. The informatin from Amy is erroneous.
Cheap Tickets often runs different membership program and there was a $59.00 offer, my membership offer was for a lifetime membership of a $100.00 with $100 in discounts on air fare on major airlines.
Currently there is a different campaign pricing slashing rates, i.e. 5 years for $79.00.
Prior to making a rebuttal you should be advised that others read comments and K N O W experientially/ first hand, the fraudulant, credit card rip off artistry of cheap trips. com

Hi, I think you need to check the name of your company. I worked for Cheap Tickets for 2 years, and my boyfriend still does.
