I too was a sucker. I got a phone call from Cheaptrips.com telling me about this exciting package deal. I was also promised a refund guaranteed if I wasn't satisfied. The package came and I immediately knew something was up and this wasn't for me. I followed all instructions and sent back my package. The package was received by Iiona at cheaptrips on May 9th. I have made 8 phone calls to the customer service line, if thats what you want to call it.
I've spoken to a guy named David 6 times and he was rude and acted like he didn't know how to help me!! And This was the customer service department!! He kept asking me for my phone number, I said if you have my account pulled up in front of you, you must already have my phone number!! He finally read it back to me and said that the supervisor was out...... I would get my refund....but there was a processing error and they had switched billing companies and the money was tied up.....
Next, he finally gave me a number to someone else. A girl named Tanya 856-874-0109. Of course, she was out. Well, after several messages she called me back. She was very appologetic, and said she would check into it. Still no refund.
Funny thing was, tonight I got a call from another member of cheaptrips trying to sell me another package!! When I asked him where my refund was, he quickly got off the phone. All he kept doing was making jokes saying well if you used a mastercard, visa amex discover instead of 8 weeks it will probably take 12!!
There must be a corporate office to call to complain where someone can do something!!! 8 phone calls and 8 weeks later, still no refund. Buyer beware!!!!!
