why on earth do food service workers feel they can mistreat or bully customers and get away with it? it's oen thing to have bad customer service but flat out mistreatment and negativity for no reason is just wrong but it's never to rarely stopped. this is a huge issue, maybe for some but in this case...have to post this because it is a ridiculous situation and stress and abuse towards a customer and bullying for absolutely no reason. except some of the sickos working at the drive thru are jealous females who are jealous towards other women or attractive women and have to take their anger out on them.

Food service has come to an all tiem low-- problems with handing customers a drink to their hand? This is absurd and horrible.ive complained about chick fila and a few other restaurants-- the people working the drive thrus-- seemingly arrogant bitter just mean people, some jealous women and overall low class jerks that bully customers.these ppl are just so sick in my opinion. I drive thru the chick fila to get a drink-- sometimes it's an issue sometimes not-- the person at the window is rude-- or what not.or has an attitude or can't hand you your food items corrently.

So, I went thru today-- the girl at the window was very very rude-- nasty mean attitude-- jusst being a total b -- why? Probably just another jealous stupid female who Has to treat other attractive females badly.so after I added onto my order to get a negative attitude towards it oh she ordered THIS extra as if it's a big dea.yeah u can't add to your order assumably or it's an issue right? the girl was being obnoxious.. Then the girl is trying to hand em my stuff-- out of her own anger or stupidity-- she drops my straw, so based on that, I ask for a manager because I have a bad arm and am not going to have to deal with more arm pain due to these people that work at these drive thrus that take their anger out on customers for no reason and sometimes will shove my drink at me or do something out of spite..the manager comes-- solution rectified? Of course not--

the manager is this very nasty blonde haired very arrogant female-- who comes snarling almost--giving you a bullying threatening attitude and look as if..they're about to attack you or just angry or mean probably some 22 year old on a power trip. most managers at these places are not like this.. But this one is bad.I tell these people I had a bad arm and if they can hand me my drink.to my hand I can't reach out anymore-- of course they can't.this has to be some kind of a joke right?

The manager begins claiming oh there's liability-- that's as far as I can go-- total lie oh she's giong to 'hit her head on the window"..huh? how is someone
This pitiful, immature and stupid even any form of a manager if she's treating customers in this way and allowed to do this to someone?
She cant extend her arm out a few inches.to accommodate a customer with a health condition? I witness people extending their arms 'inside' people's cars and yet she can't move a few inches forward intentionally just to cause me, the customer more distress and also lie-- and they aer flat out refusing.

If a manager is doing this to a customer at a drive thru-- who on earth can the customer even complain to? If the manager is an immature teen on a power trip with a bad attitude and have to bully or mistreat them in this way--what are you supposed to do? They call an employee a male one-- he extends his arm out claiming look I can reach inside her car..this isn't nuts to anyone that these imo maniacs of employees are doing this to customers and getting away with it?

U call the chick fila hotline to complain.. Only to get we can forward your comments to the owner that's it? What about the next time u try to go and deal with this kind of negative nasty treatment and ppl not even able to hand your drink to you ? and having to go around asking for someone to be able to hand your drink right to your hand as it's sitting outside your window? discrimination, ridiculous treatment, and utter pettiness and inanity ...

A thought...

I've read many of this woman's reports and now have made some conclusions.

1. Have you ever heard the phrase "You get what you give"? I was in the service industry for quite a few years, and I was always polite with my customers, and did everything in my power to resolve any issues they may have had. However, if they came in several times and complained, or were abusive, or irrational, I gave it back to them. We are people too, and no one deserves to be treated like crap. Especially not repeatedly.

2. In quite a few of your reports, you state that you were ill, that you have pain, or that you were incapacitated in some way. I may be wrong, but perhaps that has something to do with the fact that your diet seems to consist entirely of fast food. That is not healthy (and I'm no martyr I eat out sometimes too), and would likely be the reason you are in such poor health. Have you ever seen Super Size Me by Morgan Spurlock? When all you put in your body is fat, grease and sodium, surprise, surprise, you will be sick.

3. In my experience, if anyone states as many times as you have just how completely and devastatingly attractive they are, the opposite is true. Having good self-esteem is a great thing. However, there is a line that can easily be crossed, transferring you right into cocky. I am decent looking, not a gorgeous as you are obviously, and have never encountered what you do on a thrice daily basis, because of "jealousy". I get treated well, because I treat well.

Well there's the long and short of it. But, like everyone else, that's just my opinion.

PS. And low and behold, would you look at that? I'm a former server who is *gasp" educated.

for the losers who keep saying "Why do you keep returning"...no the question is-- why are the employees here or anywhere allowed to treat customers or anyone in this way for no reason and getting away with it...why are u trying to condone abuse or bad behavior towards others....just because 'people can spit in your food'...you are so ignorant and stupid yourselves and this is for people getting ripped off not dicks who are sitting around pathologizing victims....

I've avoided this place for a while now....and decided to go early one day to get a drink...of course bad idea once again....they can't just hand u a drink, yuor change and let u leave peacefully. the nasty wenches/women if you even want to call them that-- are apparently either jealous or just nuts and have to treat other or some women badly... the girl at the window...snatched my money from me rudely-- of course she had to be rude...handed me my drink, luckily didn't spill it on me like you figured they would, and as she was handing me my change, of course...dropped/threw some change on the gruond intentionally...no she could not just put the change in my hand...she had to grudgingly get annoyed and toss half of it off, then as I explained to her how she owed me money, annoyingly yelled at the manager, had the manager come to open the register, or some other idiot that worked there...then irritatingly hand me the amount of moeny they threw on the ground.

What is wrong with these sick pitiful people that they do this to any customer or any person....they want to not let them just get their food and leave...and want to seemingly create chaos, problems, and for the problems 'they' creaet intentionally because they are angry or screwed up people...or just sick in the head, they then will blame the customer for after the customer is the one having to endure the nonsense crap and abuse....shame on this stupid store or any that employs such rude jerks... and it's so common tehse days such rude nasty people everywhere you go no manners...nothing...and almost hostile people as well ... the people that work at this place need some serious help and on top of that after everythign they do to a customer, they will then make rude comments on how the customer needs to go inside to get their stuff-- to avoid being treated badly by the abusive nasty incompetent female drive thru staff.... what a joke and a shame...

I am also disabled and have only one arm that I can use. I have gone thru 4 surgeries and my left arm is unusable and in a hard brace. So I know how it is to need assistance at a drive thru window. All you have to do is let them know kindly that you need a little extra help or go inside and ask for help . A little bit of kindness goes a long way! Chic-fila has the best and kindest service out of all of the fast food resturants. Y ou complain about every fast food resturant in your area.

If you dislike them so much, why go? Stay home and cook. It is much healthier anyway! That way there is no need to complain. If you feel you must go, then learn to say "Thank you and Please". It works wonders and for a teenager making only 6 bucks an hour I think you could be a little more patient. Have you forgotten how hard it is to be behind a hot stove with a long line of complaining custormers? It can not be all that fun! So how bout it, a litte more compassion, please????????? Thank you!

well bad customer service seems to be a huge problem today-- so many losers and jerks everywhere just mistreating the customer....especially at these fast food places ....have been back to this location sevearl times with ok service...or not any kind of major problems but went back recently, and one of the same rude females was working there again and began making nasty comments...about handing me stuff, or mockign your situation etc...absolutely uncalled for and very stupid...


I called the store back to speak to a male manager who was nice and apologetic and apologized for the behavior of the entire staff there....which hasn't happened with any of the other managers there....and he claimed something like that wouldn't happen again....what's sadder is that the chick fila hotlines are really almost useless-- they do nothing to help the consuemr or anyone and the situation just goes unresolved....what is teh point of even having them there and also why are customers allowed to be made fun of by employees at these kind of restaurants....this shouldn't be happening at all and no one in any kind of management or upper position is doing their job which is just not good overall....except for this one manager...

this is just an update on this report-- ive been to this location so many times...and their service continues to be terrible and the women or 'obnoxious jerks' i would say working the drive thru- are extremely rude and obnoxious...and do not hand customers their food and mock them at the drive thru... I simply ask them "hey can you just reach forward a little more to hand me the item" the girl working there is very mean and gives a dirty look "what"??? then explains how she can't do that-- when she of course can yet just doesn't want to--another employee yells in the background rudely "why doesn't she just COME inside"...hmm this is strange to me-- they can't extend their arm out 2-3 inches to hand a customer a food item, something which any other person can do and which ive witnessed people do pretty easily. then they call over a guy "oh it's your favorite girl" then he comes and apologizes....i mean this is ridiculous....and completely stupid...it shouldn't even be happening...why are these dsigsuting teenage heathens with no manners or morals allowed to treat any customer in this way and get away with it...aside from the nice guy who they keep calling over who supposedly has 'long arms' and can hand you your food..? is this a joke or something...why aren't those nasty 'females' that work there reprimanded for their sick and terrible attitudes and behaviors? where on earth are the mature managers? ive complained to 'chick fila hotline' numerous times....they say they will ''forward the cmoments to the owner'---this is considered taking care of bad customer service?

Are we to take this seriously?

First of all, your claim is trivialized by stating such things like "the sickos working at the drive thru are jealous females who are jealous towards other women or attractive women and have to take their anger out on them." If you want people to take your complaint seriously, I suggest you drop the self-absorbed paranoia.

Secondly, when it comes to food service workers, they will generally give you the same attitude that you give them. I know it's not always the case, but more often than not when the customer is polite, the employees will be pollite.

When you pull up to the drive-thru, how closely do you pull up to the window? As a former drive-thru worker, I recall many many people who would stop their cars two feet away from the window. At first, I tried to accomodate them by leaning far out of the window, sometimes with 8lbs of food and drink in my arms waiting for them to finish fidgeting with their wallet. After a while, my aching back got the better of me, and I began asking those people to please pull closer to the window. The discomfort you feel when leaning out of the window of your car is comparable to the discomfort of the drive-thru employee when she has to lean out to reach you.

Finally, why on Earth did you call a manager because the employee dropped your straw? This kind of thing happens. The proper solution would be to wait for the employee to simply give you a new straw. I highly doubt the employee was going to make you open your car door and pick the now-dirty straw up.

As the other commentors have pointed out, perhaps it's not all these fast-food places that are the problem. The common factor seems to be YOU.

How much Free stuff are you hoping to get THIS time?

Since you go into such hysterics about fast food places, I can only surmise that one time you complained and were given coupons or something for free food, and now you try the act every time anything goes slightly wrong in your eyes in hopes of more compensation.

THIS time it seems to boil down to a dropped straw and an employee stating to someone filling orders that you had added onto your order when you got to the window (something necessary for the other employee to understand why there is a sudden need for an item not previously in the order queue).

The person with the attitude problem is YOU, dear. No one cares how attractive you think yourself to be - but your spelling and grammar lead me to believe that at minimum your education or attention in school was lacking. Are you the type, perhaps, who is jealous of people whom you recognize as being more intelligent and capable than you, so you gripe and complain about them in an attempt to make yourself feel superior? That certainly is the bitter, angry type of impression you leave from your letters.

If you have this many problems with resturants in Orlando do one of two things. Either move to a new city, or learn to cook. Although I imagine that if you did this you would start to complain about every grocery store in Orlando.

But on the other hand I really don't want you to stop posting. This does provide a good humor break sometimes. I still love your "rice" incident.

Here is some serious closing advise for you. If you have a disability that is one thing, but it still does not give you the right to treat people the way you apparently do. So you need to take a very hard look at yourself in the mirror. It may not be everyone else that is rude, it may just be YOU.
