We recently used this company to install carpet in our living room and vinyl flooring in our kitchen/foyer area. It was a nightmare from day one. Picking out and purchasing the product seemed to be pretty easy. However, when it came to the quality of workmanship and customer service, well, I will just say I have never seen anything like it. We were told in order to lay the vinyl flooring the way we wanted to, we would have to spend more money on material. We agreed to do so because that is the way we wanted. We have a front door and a sliding glass door that line up with this floor, when the sun shines in the house, we didn't want to see the seam. We are both in the construction field and know a little more than most people, so we did our homework. When they came to lay the floor down, they laid it in the wrong direction and we are left with the remaining materials. When we called them to come out and make it right, the "GM" did not show and did not call. Needless to say tempers flaired. When someone finally showed up to review this, we agreed to save them the extra cost if they could make the seam disappear...as at this point as soon as you walked in the house all you noticed was this shiny seam in the middle of our floor. Unacceptable! They also agreed to lay some of the extra material in our Master Bathroom to compensate us, that still has not been laid and now I do not want them any where near my home! The seam was fixed, however, we then started getting ripples in the floor. Started out as one huge ripple and then small ones were popping up left and right. They came out this past weekend after 3 weeks (snow storms) and fixed it. We had to move our own appliances to do these repairs. We have an 8 month old and the kitchen is in the "heart" of our home, so this has been very aggravating for many different reasons. We are now asking for a credit on the extra material and some compensation for the time we have spent replacing one room. They don't show and don't call, including the "General Manager", who which I spoke to about my complaints, continuously laughed at me, literally laughed as if it was some kind of joke. Their attitude now is that the work has now been completed and they have their money, they are not willing to do anything to make good on the complications we have had. Sad for them, we have more rooms to replace and they will not be getting those jobs. Word of mouth is a powerful tool. We also are reporting them to the Better Business Bureau among many other agencies. The Owner is who I originally contacted after my mother-in-law (who referred them to us) and my husband had no luck with the Salesman and General Manager, only for him to transfer me straight back to them as if he didn't care at all about his own company.
