#2 UPDATE Employee
Chosen Payments / Jeff Brodsly Extremely Reputable
AUTHOR: Employee Of Jeff & Chosen - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Monday, February 25, 2013
I have worked with Jeff for many years now and never have I seen or heard a side of him as described. Jeff is very good to his staff; generous beyond the acts of a normal employer (he genuinely cares) and to this day even as a CEO he works 14 hour days, ensures he is available on weekends, and bends over backwards to ensure merchants are happy! Chosen Payments rarely has merchants cancel (less than 2%) and if a merchant wishes to cancel, which has an agreed upon early term fee, CP rarely charges the fee. However in the event a merchant terminates their signed agreement for no just cause and CP must charge a fee it has never been $1000 and is always within the industry standard fee for terminating an agreement early.
It seems to me that this is a fake post as there is absolutely no truth or facts about Jeff as a person or Chosen Payments as a company. This complaint in my opinion is generic and shows animosity as well as a personal attack on the CEO Jeff Brodsly, I immediately believe this to be a disgruntled previous staff member abusing the internet and making false accusations. With that being said; I too challenge the author to say who they are and provide greater detail, or facts, so Chosen Payments and the readers of this report can make a fair assessment of their truth and belief.
To the reader, thank you for taking the time to look deeper into this complaint and the validity of such.
#3 REBUTTAL Owner of company
False Statements and Internet Misuse by an Undisclosed Person

Chosen believes that to ensure the veracity of allegations against a reputable company like Chosen Payments, the author of this post which disparages, defames and asserts claims regarding the companys integrity, should stand behind his post and disclose who he is and any business with whom he is associated. This would allow the reader of such a post to consider its source, the reputation of the source regarding his integrity and penchant for honesty, and evaluate to what extent the source may have a motive to fabricate facts concerning Chosen Payments and its Principal, Jeff Brodsly. For example, it would be important to know if the source is a former disgruntled employee and/or a competitor whose motivation for the post has nothing to do with an honest assessment of the company, but, as in the case of the employee, a motive to disseminate false and disparaging information because of some perceive grievance he might have with Chosen and, in the case of a competitor, gain some economic advantage to solicit prospective customers of Chosen for their business. In both instances, by the source coming forward and identifying himself, the reader can make his or her own judgment with regard to whether the post has any validity. Moreover, the source could be held accountable for any publicly made claims which turn out to be false or defamatory. Of course, the source would have absolutely nothing to be concerned with if all the facts in the post concerning Chosen and its principal are true since the truth is an absolute defense to any claims Chosen might have arising out of a post for defamation or trade liable. Chosen believes hiding behind a fake name proves the illegitimacy of this posting and does not give the public viewers, or Chosen Payments, a proper way to respond to the accusations in the post. Accordingly, Chosen Payments challenges the person who posted this to come forward and state who he is, what business he is in and give greater detail about his experience if it is indeed legitimate. If so Chosen Payments will then have a fair opportunity to defend this post.
Despite this challenge, Chosen is confident that the source will not come forward since the source knows the information he posted is false and by identifying himself as the author of the post, he will be held legally accountable to Chosen and Mr. Brodsly for these statements. We ask the readers of this post to consider this in evaluating these false and defamatory facts and statements regarding Chosen Payments and its principal, Jeff Brodsly.
A few facts false facts we would like to immediately note are;
Chosen Payments has never charged a single Merchant $1,000 for cancelling their account. Shira does not work in a cancellation department nor has she ever spoken to a merchant about canceling their account. The President Jeff Brodsly has been a successful businessman with an impeccable reputation and never once has he be accused of such slanderous traits, nor has he ever received a complaint in his career.Jeff Brodsly was never affiliated with Midwest Merchant Services. The person writing this post claims they have been screwed over however he has not articulated why he feels this waythis lack of any specificity calls into question the validity of this post itself.
In the unlikely event that the author of this post ever comes forward and accepts our challenge to identify himself, Chosen will provide a further rebuttal it deems appropriate in response to any claims advanced by this individual.
