This is my first visits (RIP-OFF) to a site like this, wished I knew it existed a year and half ago. Its amazing that this company can rip so many people off and still stay in business. I did contact the BBB, and filed a complaint, but CircuitMicro never responded. My rip off complaint is identical to all those listed, 1) Paid 39.95 for the "so-called" credit check, 2) got sold a large screen TV for a reasonable price--shold have tipped me off 3)told I had to put money down, which wasn't at level to get too overly concerned with 4) never sent the merchandise. I called and called (now there is no number) and was told by several employees that they would refund my money (and I did talk to the Randy guy there too, guess he is stil there). Actually, they stated that they would mail me a check (be there in 4-6 weeks), because once it went through they could not credit it. Waiting was a real stupid move on my part, because I could have filed a fraudulent claim with the bank within 60 days to get my money back. However, I trusted what they told me was truth, as I have never dealt with a company like this before. Anyway, I waited past the 60 days, which I think they know is the usual waiting period (the reason for the 4-6 weeks). My advise don't wait, as soon as you do business with them and it seems shaky you better contact the bank and file a fraudulent charge. I di entertain the idea of going to small claims court, but considering the distance and travel (Alabama to California), just decided to eat it and chalk it up to a valuable life lesson learned. I just hope other people read this before doing business with the company. From now on, I will use this site before conducting all of my online business.
